And there Hae-in was in the aquarium, pretending to be shocked by the proposal when she was actually orchestrating it. 😂 I love how sneaky she is. It's been weeks since I finished the show, but it's so rewatchable, and I love how fun all the characters are. I actually binged your Vincenzo reactions because of this episode. 😂

I loooove Hana Yori Dango (and its Korean version, Boys Over Flowers but the Japanese one reigns supreme imo). They're sometimes a little cringe looking back but overall a fun kooky watch.

When his lawyer friend was introducing Vincenzo to Baek when he got off the elevator, he made lots of references to other characters apart from Vincenzo that he's played in other dramas. Like "The youngest chaebol" from Reborn Rich, "A former soldier stationed abroad" was from Descendants from the sun, "Someone who came here on a spaceship" from Space Sweepers and "Others say he's a werewolf" from Werewolf boy. Really clever references for drama lovers!

Idk if the greed took over before she died or not but, in my eyes, greed always poisons the soul. When you're already successful and wealthy yet yearn for exponentially more money and power then you're doomed. I think it's very difficult for anyone to maintain their humanity at that point because the only way to become uber rich is to shortchange and sacrifice the wellbeing of your employees/consumers. Not to mention the way it changes your perspective on everything and causes you to look at others as if they're trying to use you. Considering the chairman's prison history and his willingness to exile his son because he thought he ratted him out to the police tells me his heart grew cold towards his family in pursuit of/in an effort to maintain power and money a long time ago.

Whether it's with bribes or faking serious injuries/surgeries, etc., it's pretty well known among the Korean GP. That's part of the reason there was so much division about if BTS should get military exemption. Many understood why they were deserving of exemption (based on the current laws allowing certain athletes and classical musicians exemption) but a lot of regular men were like "why should they be exempt and I had to go." It's a touchy subject but if you have money and affluence in SK (so beyond that of an idol/actor/etc., although some of them try to dodge military service too and have been caught) they'll more than likely try to avoid service at all costs.

Btw the roles they were listing before introducing him, were all characters the actor played in other shows/movies.
