2025-11-26 14:44:27 +0000 UTCI know you all already finished this and I'm not sure if it's ever explicitly stated in the anime but Baek (white tiger guy), when his eyes turn yellow, he can sense EXACTLY how powerful someone is, which is why he was the only one who knew Jinwoo was getting stronger. Everyone else only has a general sense of their magic power. It's also why he wanted to recruit him after he saved his guild members. His eyes turned yellow the second time he put his hands on Jinwoo's shoulder and saw how powerful he was.

2025-04-13 01:36:59 +0000 UTCI just absolutely love slippery-slope characters like this where they are morally gray presented as good guys and you see with power they start sliding into villain mode. I dunno why by the writing is just epic. You see this in Tsukimichi as well (10/10 recommend. Best intros/outros and the character has the best descent of character besides solo leveling and I would say "World's most notorious Talker.." but that character is straight up an evil-good guy protagonist. No descent lol but also recommend) The hype scenes for Jinwoo are just fantastically done and I fangirl every time 😂 for Igris too though I hoped to see more of him in S2 so kinda sad he isn't as prominent as I thought he'd be.

2025-02-21 00:52:49 +0000 UTCSo I think the shadow soldiers stay in the shadows of anyone Jinwoo puts them on and come out if they are in danger. I think it’s based more on the intelligence of each soldier so higher ranked ones are more aware of what they are doing kinda. Jinwoo most likely knows the location of each soldier at all times and see what they are doing. I’m pretty sure they follow Jinwoos moral code as in they won’t go against him so they won’t just start killing people randomly or as they see fit. They would instead stop conflicts that can lead to death or like really bad injuries and immediately report what’s happening to Jinwoo. But this is just my guess.

I have a philosophical question although regarding the "Jinwoo can just keep getting stronger shadows." So, do you still feel like this is a "game" where Jinwoo is the only known player, or do you think these gates lead to the home worlds of these monsters? Here is the issue; earth has 8billion people, but only 1 Jinwoo. Wouldn't it be fair to assume that if they were from another world there would be a similar power ratio? On the other hand if you think its a "game," and monsters are an infinite resource instead of a renewable resource, do you think that another Tusk/Igris have re-spawned?

I thought he, and maybe even a few others, might show up around this time after reaching S-Rank to compete with Jinwoo. There’s no way Jinwoo is the only player!
