yeah but on the other hand it healed the burn wounds scars of his mom, so technically it should work, or maybe it still only heals you a 100% if there's a disease, that's probably it

2025-03-29 05:31:40 +0000 UTCI agree. When I saw Goto vs. Jinwoo sparring, I thought they were much closer in power level than after the fight with the ant in this episode. Jinwoo is so much stronger - it's not even comparable, and it's not like he leveled up between those two fights since he wanted to spend some time with his family.

2025-03-27 17:58:42 +0000 UTCThe only way I can think of to rescue Hunter Cha at the moment would be summon someone with powerful healing ability. But besides the moral conundrum of summoning a human being right in front of all these S ranks, summoning isn't even guaranteed to work. Reviving that one S rank healer might work though. Maybe he could just fly on his dragon like Wes said? Her condition looks really bad though. Perhaps if he's able to summon the ant King, he can someone how use the regeneration to help someone else? Hmm, I don't know. I'm not sure what Jin Woo can do here.

2025-03-27 17:50:38 +0000 UTCJinwoo wouldn’t have made it past episode 1 without the system - it’s the whole premise of the show that the system is the reason he’s that strong. Also, this wasn’t even the first time he gained/took advantage of it mid-fight.

In manhwa, Goto was LITERALLY shitting bricks and was traumatized just from Jinwoo's Aura when he grabbed Goto's hand. In anime, they made it simply that he is like... "Cool Aura". I am not complaining here, but issue is, Jinwoo at this point is WAAAAY stronger than what anime makes him out to be

The ability leveling up right before the ant could have killed him (maybe?) obviously creates a cool and intense moment, but you could also see it as plot armor, to be honest. I didn’t expect Jinwoo to be that much stronger - I thought the fight would be more balanced or even require some tricks or teamwork to win. The ant literally killed Goto - the strongest hunter besides Jinwoo so far? - without any real effort, yet Jinwoo swept that guy. He wasn’t even hurt or out of breath afterward, lol.

Not that I am complaining, but people being that it was a deus ex machina makes me a bit gripey. Basically, fatal strike is his most used move, and he keeps spamming it. Now right about ant king was aboutta stab em here, he just spammed fatal strike and it leveled up and upgraded fairly The anime just made it more dramatic

2025-03-27 15:31:50 +0000 UTCWhat i find interesting is the ant king does not mention a voice or even jin woo not smelling human or anything like that like the other monsters the ant king was fighting the whole time with the thought of this is a human to me that suggests that the ant king at least is separate from the normal way the system works it might be because it hatched outside of the portal or maybe because it consumed enough humans

He’s what Jin Woo is to the magic beasts - one that can grow ever stronger. The question is - what is the system so invested in Jin Woo? What is its purpose? Gotta wait till S3/4 for that though.

2025-03-27 00:12:11 +0000 UTCI think he somehow gets the ants healing ability. Since it’s a dungeon raid when he kills the boss he gets one of those ability stones. Idk if that applies to a regular raid as opposed to a dungeon he opens with a key.

And the Life Elixir only works on illnesses apparently, which is why it has no effect on Hunter Cha. The only thing I can think of is that Jinwoo will raise the ant and use its healing abilities (which would also complete his army - he has tanks, fighters, and mages, but no healer yet) to heal Cha. I thought he might try to raise Byung-Gu, but I’m not sure if that’s even possible, since he lost his head or how the other hunters would feel about it from a moral standpoint. Also, Jinwoo probably doesn’t even know about Byung-Gu yet. At the end, he seemed ready to use his ability, given the way his eyes were glowing.

2025-03-26 21:07:05 +0000 UTCThe reason why Jin woo didn’t level up so much imo is because Jin woo was either at the same level, or higher than the ant king. The fact that he even leveled up twice against what seems to me, a weaker opponent is wild to me. Remember how in the ropes Jin Woo was against the demon king? To me a fight like that is meant for leveling up like crazy, Shame that the show sometimes forget about the name on top of the monster. ( The threat level indicator) Ps: the Ice magic was from the Japanese hunter he killed, he ate him/his head and gained his powers, at least that what it looks like to me.

So a year or two from now
