I know this is probably not going to be seen as it's an older video, but I just want to say my piece on the whole roswaal and ram thing; Roswaal actually has nearly zero self esteem in himself. He may seem confident and proud of himself but that mostly a facade. Thats part of the reason he clings to Echidna because he felt "needed" by her. Now, that he knows someone cares about him besides Echidna, he's terrified of it because he doesn't know how to react. I say this as someone who has no self esteem and have ruined many relationships I could've had due to my own self esteem. I have actively pushed away people who were interested or loved me because I felt I didn't deserve it or it scared the hell out of me because I didn't know how to receive affection or love from someone other than the person I "idolized". Even if I didn't expect love back from the person I was interested in. I felt more comfortable just having a person I idolized rather than having someone openly love me, if that makes sense. So I can totally understand why Roswaal flipped the switch and started avoiding Ram after her confession. The human mind is a very intricate system of emotions and logic, and those can be broken due to trauma, which what my trauma is, and also Roswaals trauma. I'm not saying I'm like roswaal, but I understand him to a degree. Anyways, just binging through all your reacts for this show was nice. Rezero is my favourite series and I'm caught up on the books. I love hearing your theories, even if they're correct, wrong, or close to correct. It's fun, cause I know what's going to happen but I also know the missing details that don't make it into the anime (a lot of the time it's because the anime doesn't have enough run time to cover everything, so they have to make cuts) but it's fun to hear theories cause it gives me a different perspective π

2025-03-29 01:03:57 +0000 UTCI also find it odd how Lust left so suddenly. If I'm understanding it right, she left because she had accomplished whatever was written in the gospel, which is what exactly? None of the Witch's Cult's demands were met, and at the very least Regulus was defeated. What exactly did they get out of this? I suppose you could just see it as Lust running away or retreating, but her mannerisms didn't strike me as very defeated. What exactly did the Witch's Cult even accomplish here? Gluttony is just the worst, you guys said it well. It just feels like a very cruel power. I really hope Subaru doesn't ever have to see Lye playing as Rem.

2025-03-27 17:15:07 +0000 UTCThe author also confirmed Reinhard genuinely felt nothing while cutting down his grandmother. Living up to what puck said about him that a hero is all he can be.

2025-03-27 02:26:56 +0000 UTCI think you guys will find it. Interesting to know that after the release of the previous episode the author confirmed that the only reason theresia Lost her blessing during the battle was because Reinhard asked for it around the same time. Which means even if inadvertently his actions did lead to her death. Itβs been theorized that upon noticing how upset his father was at his grandmother going off to battle he chose to ask to relieve her of the blessing at the worst possible time.

2025-03-26 20:39:47 +0000 UTC13:20 Wes π I refuse to accept this, too. 16:29 You know what? I kinda like shapeshifters like her. It's cool. And agreed, it's really well done. 18:05 Oh no... Well, at least she didn't get Al's face. Even if she did, Subaru could still figure out she's impersonating Al, given both have japanese knowledge. So there's hope. But I'm very worried about what she's up to. 27:14 Same. Maybe we should jump off the Krusch train, and support Otto for the election :P 29:54 Ohhhh, so that's why he called Subaru a hero a few episodes ago...dammit

2025-03-26 20:24:53 +0000 UTCWhat the sin archbishop of glutony who was fighting otto and the others meant is that he tries to find out the name of people to eat their name and memory, so he doesn't kill them right away while the other glutony who is with julius eats the actual bodies of people too. So you could say that the Sin archbishop that Otto is facing with betty is more of a fine gourmet who need to set the table to eat ( meaning learn the names of the people he will erase from existence like rem) while glutton roy doesn't care, he eats indiscriminately, since he only wants to eat people and doesn't have to concern himself with finding out their names since I thinks he can share in the information and ability of the other . I only said this based on the episode so I'm not 100/100 sure.

2025-03-26 20:10:43 +0000 UTCI find it meta hilarious that after Otto saw the scars on Lye's body and said "if those scars are what made you what you are.." Lye put a stop to that right away and practically said (paraphrasing) "What, are you gonna try and force sympathy for me? That's awfully cheap!" That felt like a meta joke to me lol. Cos typically in stories the authors like to force backstories on the audience to make you feel bad for the villains. Lye saying that felt like a jab at that kind of writing π I mean the author did it with Petelgeuse, but the genius is they showed us his past LOOONG after he was dead and removed from the main story as a villain. But in all fairness I think the author is setting up something here with Lye and explaining why he is the way he is. The scars on his back are implying abuse of some kind. Maybe history of being a slave? With him being the Archbishop of Gluttony, maybe he was starved as a slave boy. I don't know. That's a theory right now.

2025-03-26 19:49:56 +0000 UTCGluttony must "touch" and "call" a "real name" of person they choose to eat. And leak their hand by their tongue. Then, the authority of Gluttony activates.
