2025-05-21 21:53:50 +0000 UTCYou call it rushed, I call it incredibly efficient and well-paced. Code Geass has a humongous cast and for them to add a bit of characterization within a couple of seconds before cutting to the next scene is impressive.

I mean it's a long and complex story that they had to fit into 16-minute episodes, so I get why. But it's pretty jarring how fast-paced it is. There's little to no downtime, just speedrunning the different scenes back to back😆 Still, it's a great show, especially later on.
