I'm not sure if you guys will see this, but if you do, I think an anime you guys would like is Ascendance of a Bookworm. It has some similarities to apothecary, being it's mostly about family, books, and things of that nature. It's getting a new season sometime in 2026. Or if you've already seen it, ignore this post lmao

2025-06-06 00:19:25 +0000 UTCThese reactions were something I looked forward to whenever I got back home from work, but since I'm watching along I didn't want to watch episodes 3&4 before 1&2, and having to make a new free account to watch just felt odd, I pay for things for convenience (immoral and evil I know) and if I have to spend 10 mins just to watch something that I could just pirate then to me that just feels icky, same reason why I dropped netflix/hulu. My point is that it shouldn't be inconvenient to access something when you pay for it compared to alternative methods.

2025-05-29 10:32:29 +0000 UTCIt's funny that you guys talked about how lucky it is that Maomao is a good person because the author of the novel said that if Lakan was able to marry Fengxian happily and Maomao was raised as the daughter of the La clan she is gonna be a villainess lol, and a good one at that. Her obsession with poison will be replaced with thirst for power and she would do anything for it. And Lakan as the doting father would support her unconditionally. So as unfortunate as the Lakan-Fengxian's situation is, we are probably in the good ending route of the story lol.
