2025-09-28 04:46:10 +0000 UTCBro I stopped watching for a month, and Wes didn't change a bit. As someone who's watched this show before, it's actually pathetic how obvious he's making it.. WES you have seen this show before. Steph hasn't.. please for the love of God just stop. Maybe most people don't care but I can name about 10 moments in this episode alone where you expose yourself. Its embarrassing. And im getting really fucking bored of it

2025-08-17 02:09:41 +0000 UTCThe actor that plays pollys son Michael, is actually brothers with the actor who plays John! That’s why he looks so much like a Shelby 😂 I can’t wait to see your reactions to Michael and how his character develops! My heart also breaks for Arthur this episode, from my understanding of watching peaky blinders twice (now three times with watching again with you guys!) and reading about the real Shelby brothers, Arthur struggled with PTSD, Depression and showed signs of being schizophrenic according to what I’ve read about the brothers. John also apparently had ADHD/ADD

2025-08-16 20:15:45 +0000 UTCOk now that I finished the ep.. I've kinda been unsure about Tommy until now but I really respected him in this episode. I hope it lasts, but damn does it feel like he's a pot fit to boil over with each added ingredient. 😅 Sooo I guess my theory was way off about him having to kill Pol's son lol I knew it was a reach but somehow convinced myself "I might be onto something here 🧐" nope. Not even close lol. These eps definitely feel like whole movies or even seasons, so packed and dense with drama and suspense. Ugh, so good! I really didn't think the show would grip me as hard as it has, but I find myself relating a lot to Tommy and Arthur (not exactly my proudest characters to relate to, but it's more like they remind me of my worst)

2025-08-15 19:03:52 +0000 UTCgreat depression hit in 1929, obliterated most countries' economies, in the UK whole towns were basically unemployed like Jarrow (who famously marched over 200 miles with a petition to London) and quality of life decreased significantly, France and especially Germany were also very badly hit in Europe. Interestingly, the Soviet Union was one of the least effected countries, as they weren't a part of the capitalist global economic system.
