Adam Wingard is a tough nut to crack--I think he just thrives directing things that are intentionally silly. The Guest and You're Next are two of my favorite movies, and his Godzilla movies are far and away my favorite American Godzillas, and they're all fun as hell. Blair Witch and Death Note... not as good a fit
