In 2024, I primarily played pre-internet-connected retro games with a restriction that I could only buy physical retro games locally. Connecting with local retro store owners and enthusiasts/collectors restored my faith in gaming communities.

I feel like Vinny is about a week away from becoming me, the person who got so fed up with Spotify last year that they learned how to mod iPods and went back to using their old clickwheel iPod (It needed a new battery and I replaced the hard drive with an SD card reader). I took my Spotify subscription money and instead use it to buy music direct from artists. It's great. Oh, and Vinny, to fix your complaint for Windows 11 the thing you want to uninstall is called the "Windows Web Experience Pack". There's a few ways to do it but the best, most thorough way is using PowerShell. Uninstalling it will get rid of all the algorithmic news feed stuff, weather widgets, and most of the other related things. Basically that left corner thing on the taskbar will disappear and the widget hotkey will stop working. It's the first thing I remove when I do a fresh Windows install now because I can't stand that thing either.

Ash is *technically* in the Evil Dead remake, he appears in the post credits as a gag.

I had to leave the theater during evil dead remake. I've never had, or have had since, a reaction to a movie like I did with that one. Got cold sweats and had to splash my face with cold water in the theater washroom. It was the needle in the eye that did me in.
