Gacha Cummy 1.3 Final FINAL Progress Report - Sub Stories introduction and Zhu Casual Outfit

Hello and welcome to this week’s Gacha Cummy update! While we’re still hard at work polishing the scenes for the upcoming release to deliver the best lewds for you to feast on, we’ve also been reflecting on the current scope and structure of the game.

As development has progressed, we’ve realized that the way we’re expanding the game could eventually lead to problems for new players. Currently, many Guests are tied to linear story progression. This means that players must go through a significant amount of story content before unlocking certain characters they’re interested in. To address this, we’ve decided to revamp how we introduce some story chapters.

Moving forward, specific sub-stories — such as the update 1.3 Frozen Mountain Story featuring Snow White — will be optional. These sub-stories will not be required to progress in the main story but will offer unique rewards, like special game mechanics (such as Reforge) and new characters, for those who choose to complete them. We will further expand on it in the next update, as we’ll be giving you the freedom to pursue quests that catch your interest without you needing to complete the previous quests. 

We also have some unfortunate news to share, as due to our decision to include two “frame-by-frame” animated scenes in this update, a lot of effort has gone into their creation. But because of the complexity of doing this type of animation, they are not quite ready for the release just yet. As a result, we will need to delay this update a bit to fully flesh them out. We hope for your understanding.

As an apology, we’re introducing a small but very cute addition! A new optional outfit for Zhu Yuan is coming this update! This casual look will be unlocked after you encounter a random scene of Zhu Yuan doing yoga in Update 1.3. We hope you enjoy it!
