Gacha Cummy 1.6 Final Progress Report — Animation Update.

While we’re still busy adding finishing touches and finishing up the scenes, we’re confident the wait will be well worth it once it’s out!
But that’s not all—we also have a surprise for you! Back when the game first launched, the early updates only featured still CGs for you to feast your eyes on. However, starting with Update 1.4, we introduced Live2D animation to Gacha Cummy — and since then, every new scene has been fully animated. We believe this is absolutely the right direction for the game going forward. That said, for newer players, there can be quite the disconnect, as most animated scenes don’t appear until later in the playthrough.
So, we’ve made a big decision: We’re going back and remaking all of the original CGs in Live2D! Our goal is to eventually have every single CG scene in the game be animated.
Down below, you can see one of the first remade scenes we’ve prepared for the upcoming update — Artoria’s workout session! We chose this one because it’s likely one of the first scenes players will encounter at the start of their Gacha Cummy journey, making it the perfect candidate for reanimation.
Reanimating scenes is a massive undertaking — each one needs to be completely redrawn and rigged from the ground up — so we appreciate your patience as we continue improving the game scene by scene.
