Baby Bat Part 9 Finale

“I’m going to go check on Dick and Damian right now. I’ll back at the introduction ceremony for Bee,” said Cory as they split up and Zatanna went into the kitchen to get Bee.

“Pfft.” Zatanna let out a small laugh as she saw Bee hovering over the cookie jar stuffing her face with a bunch of cookies that shaped like bats.

“Bee Zatara, what are you doing young lady?” “Nothing,” Bee said while trying to hide the cookie jar behind her back. “I was just grabbing a cookie mommy.”  “Don’t you mean cookies young lady.”

“No mommy I would never take more than one I promise.” “Bee be honest with me or there will be no cookies for you for the next week.” “Sorry mommy I took several cookies. They were just so good I wanted more.”

“That’s better, if you ever make a mistake, it is always better for you tell the truth.” “Sorry mommy please don’t be mad at me.” “Bee I would never be mad at you; I just want you to understand the values in telling the truth.”

“Okay mommy.” “Bee sweetie I it’s time for you to meet with everyone right now.” “Mommy I’m scared. What will they all think of me in this form, looking like a baby?”

“Don’t worry honey, I swear to you that no one will make fun of you, they will accept you for who you are I swear it.” “Okay mommy,” said Bee as she walked over to Zatanna who picked her up in her arms and held her close as they walked into the living room which was 10 times bigger than normal due to a spell that she created to hold all the members of the Justice League.

There was bunch of people talking and laughing all around, but they all stopped when Zatanna and Bee entered the room. Each one of them wanted to get a good look at what happened to the great and powerful Batman. The only ones who knew about this beforehand was the top six leader of the League, Zatanna and Bruce’s family. The rest were in the dark about this.

Many of them were shocked to see that Zatanna was holding a young girl in her arms that looked just like her. Though it was easy for them to figure out what happened from there.

“Greetings everyone, thank you all for coming today. I know each and everyone of you has been curious as well as been wondering about what today's party is about so I will get straight to the point. Today I hereby introduce to you my daughter Bee Zatara, formerly Bruce Wayne, formerly Batman.”

Many of the people there start murmuring among themselves each one of them looked at Bee with curious eyes well. For Bee it seemed as if they were looking at her with contempt. Felling scared she tucked away in her mother's breasts showing her diaper for everyone to see.

So many members were shocked to see that the great Batman who was scared of nothing, was now hiding away from their mere gazes. For a moment there was only silence until there was a loud laughter come from none other then Wonder Woman.

“It’s okay young lady! Everyone has times in their life when they are fearful but the fact that you came out here knowing that you were afraid shows great courage! You will always be welcome on the shores of the Themiscyra.” Wonder Woman’s words caused the room to ignite with vigor again. The initial shock that silenced the room was no more and everyone began to talk and laugh again.

Every one of them understood right there and then that the Batman that they knew was still there, all that changed was his form. It would only take a matter of time before they could accept this change.

This was the first step of Bee Zatara’s story and there are still many other adventures to come.
