“Well I do believe that we can confirm now what Jaden said is true,” said the Chancellor. “She is indeed Jaden Yuki.”
“Right, right,” said Crowler as he sat down. He was still a little butt hurt for losing, and couldn’t help but show it. “So what do you expect us to do now?”
“What do you mean?” The Chancellor asked confused.
“Ugh and you call yourself the Chancellor,” Crowler said, not remotely trying to be delicate about the matter. “I mean what are we going to do with her?”
“I agree,” said Miss Fontaine. “Jaden is now a girl. The first thing that we have to do is consider what happens to her from here. Where will she live, who will take care of her and how are we going to explain this to the rest of the students? We need to be able to discuss all of this.”
“But Miss Fontaine, Jaden stays in the Slifer dorm and despite her form is still the same age as she was before. She’s not a child that needs to be taken care of. Besides if we calmly tell the students what happened then I’m sure that they’ll accept it in time.”
Upon hearing his words the rest of the professors couldn’t help but yell at him. Despite being the Chancellor who is supposed to help the students he was obviously failing to take this seriously.
“Are you mad, monsieur!” Bonaparte yelled at him. “Do you really expect the students to believe that something this impossible happened to another student? Besides even if they do believe it think about all the backlash that not only the school would receive but her as well.”
“So many people will begin to treat her differently when they find out. There will be so much pressure placed on her. They could even harm her. Think of the potential lawsuits!”
“Bonaparte’s right,” said Miss Fontaine. “We cannot tell anyone of this. It has to be kept a secret to only those that already know.”
“Then what will happen to me?” Jaden asked concerned that she wouldn’t be able to attend duel academy anymore.
“That’s where I come in,” said Alexis as she walked in.
“Alexis thank you for coming,” Miss Fontaine said happily. “I assume this means that what we talked about last night was agreed upon with your parents?”
“What are you talking about?” Jaden Asked confused.
“Jaden do you still want to attend Duel Academy?” Alexis asked her. “Of course I do. Dueling means everything to me,” she said back to her.
“Then are you willing to be adopted by my family as Alice Rhodes?” she asked as she grabbed Jaden’s hand. “What do you mean?”
“After you and Miss Fontaine left last night I contacted my family and explained everything to them. They were a bit skeptical at first but after remembering what happened to my brother they finally believed me.”
“Jaden you once saved my brother and now it’s my turn to save you. My parents already contacted your uncle, and he’s agreed to it. Now all that’s left is for you to agree and you’ll soon be officially part of my family as my adopted sister. What do you say?”
“Yes,” Jaden said as tears rolled down her eyes. “Yes!” she yelled as both she and Alexis embraced each other.
“Now Chancellor after hearing that do you intend to keep Jaden, no Alice Rhodes in the Slifer dorm?” asked Miss Fontaine. “There are no females in either Slifer red or Ra Yellow. It would not be wise to leave a young lady of the Rhodes family only in an all-male populated area. Besides we all know how capable of a duelist she is, so it wouldn’t be out of the question to do so.”
“Agreed,” the Chancellor said as he rubbed his temples. All of this was a bit too much for him and he just wanted it to end already.
“Good,” she said back to him. “As for who will take care of her that will be both Miss Rhodes and myself. There is much that we must teach her in order to become a proper young lady.” She looked at Alice, only to see her face of displeasure. It would seem that she would be a tough one to train.
“Now that we have everything settled, all that’s left is the paperwork that must be created for our new second-year exchange student. I do hope you have fun Chancellor because I’m sure that it will take you quite some time.”
