Baby Bat's Magical Sleepover Part 7

“Coming mommy! Just give us a second!” Bee yelled loud enough for her mother to hear.

“Alright, honey, I'll see you girls in a bit,” Zatanna said to them before ending her spell.

“I have to change us back!” Bee said, panicking. “Mommy can’t see us like this; she’ll freak out!”

“Just calm down,” Mary said to her. “Just change our clothes back to normal, and everything will be fine.”

“Okay, I got this,” Bee said, taking a deep breath. “Egnahc rou sehtolc kcab ot lamron!”

Bee expected their clothes to be changed back to normal, but nothing happened.

“Egnahc rou sehtolc kcab ot lamron!” she said once more, but again nothing happen.

“Bee, w-what’s wrong?” Milagro asked her. “Why isn’t the spell working?”

“I don’t know,” Bee said to them as tears started to form in her eyes. “Mommy was right. I wasn’t ready to use magic on others yet!” Bee yelled, so scared that her mother would be mad at her that she wet herself a bit.

“Bee it’s alright, don’t cry,” Mary said as she and Milagro tried to calm her down, but it was too late.

“Wahhhhhhh! Wahhhhhh! Mommmmmyyy! I dorry mommmy!”

BAM!

“Bee, what’s wrong!?” Zatanna yelled, bursting through Bee’s bedroom door and embracing her daughter, not noticing the current attire that the girls were in.

“It's alright, mommy is here,” she said, rubbing Bee’s head to calm her down.

“I'm sorry mommy, I-I messed up,” Bee said, clinging tightly to her mother’s chest.

“It’s alright, just tell… young lady what are you there wearing!? Zatanna asked her daughter as she finally saw them wearing Sailor Scout uniforms.

“I-I-”

“I was the one that told her to do it,” Mary said, trying to save her best friend from being punished.

“No… I t-told her to do it,” Milagro said, trying to take the blame as well.

“Bee, did you use magic on yourself and your friends?” Zatanna said in a gentle but disappointed tone.

“Umhm,” Bee mumbled, unable to look her mother in the eye.

“Bee, what did I tell you about using magic on others?” Zatanna asked her.

“Not to,” Bee said to her.

“Then why did you do it?” Zatanna asked.

“Because I, no, we asked her too,” Mary sad as she and Milagro held hands to show that they were in this together.

“I’m happy that you value your friends so much that you would break your promise with me, but I am disappointed. Though seeing how no one looks hurt and only their clothes have been changed, I guess we can forget about this. But first, you need to explain why you’re crying, young lady,” Zatanna said to her daughter.

“Because I can’t change the clothes back, and you’ll be mad at me for disobeying you,” Bee said to her mother as Zatanna wiped the tears from her eyes.

“Alright, let mommy handle this,” Zatanna said to her daughter. “Egnahc rou sehtolc kcab ot lamron!” Zatanna said, using the same spell that Bee had tried to use herself. Though just like when her daughter did it, nothing happened.
