With the final round upon her, Alice knew she was done for. The dice throw would be nothing but a formality, her mind being set on chickening out regardless. ..Wouldn't it be hot to take another change though? Something embarrassing, humiliating. Shrinking down, losing the remaining bit of potential authority she could ever hope to carry.
Her mind drifted into degenerate thoughts, only being brought back to reality by Kitty who urged her to go on with her turn. A bit disappointed that her daydreaming was cut short, Alice threw the die for what everyone assumed would be her last time. It spun obnoxiously long before it came to a halt. For the group of girls who were all more than eager to get this done with, every little thing could be overly irritating.
"Four! Wow, congrats! Are you gonna chicken out now?? It's pretty much a no-brainer, you're not gonna win anyway.."
Though all the words Bitch spoke were true, the complete lack of compassion for her "friend" left a poor taste in everyone's mouth, but not enough to speak up.
Be it out of spite, or just morbid curiosity, Alice decided to at least hear what the card had to say. Mental cards were not to be taken lightly, but it'd be a shame to pass on a card that against all odds could be something beneficial.
"I.. I wanna know what it says first.."
She looked over at Kitty, urging her to help out and read it aloud. With a sigh, the Japanese girl reluctantly honored her request and leaned in for the card.
One is wise never to think things over before the fat lady sings
After all, one may never truly know how the game swings!
Though, to continue now, one might consider that a blunder
A consolation price for you, a name from the land of wonder!
Do you continue or chicken out?
Alice knew she should quit right here. Every part of her being, begging her to quit. But deep down she also wanted to claim the new name for herself. Something humiliating? What if it gave her a name like bootlicker, or just "Pet"! God.. How awful.. She shuddered from the thought, though not for the right reasons.
Her moment of hesitation didn't go unnoticed. Both Kitty and Bitch understood the situation. Alice was too down the rabbit hole to help herself out. She didn't have it in her to turn down such an alluring opportunity.
"I.. I.. -Continue!"
Even the petite catgirl seemed surprised with her decision. Had she really given up her name that easily? For seemingly no good reason except the thrill? Kneeling on the red carpet, she basked in the afterglow of the excitement of surrendering her very name to some strange game with a knack for corruption, and in her case, humiliation.

"What the hell was that, Cheshire?! You can't even win anymore, why take the extra card???"
Kitty couldn't believe the poor judgement she'd just witnessed. Thankfully Cheshire couldn't win at this stage, no way in hell would she manage to set things right with the wish. Not with her twisted mind and lack of self control.
"It's not over! The game said so!"
Despite raising her otherwise quiet voice for the first time in forever, she didn't sound convinced. Almost as if she just wanted to lose control, and undergo the change, but being too embarrassed to admit it to the others.
"What do you mean it's not over, I literally only have to roll a one for this to be finished. Even Bitch can win on her next throw. It doesn't get more finished than this, Cheshire!"
"Jeez, whatever guys! She, like totally did it on purpose and stuff! Can we PLEASE just be done already? This shit is REALLY boring!"
"Shut up, skank. The grownups are talking"
For once, Bitch's attitude actually sat well with Kitty. It could come in handy after all. If just for putting Ruby back in her place. She did however have a point though, Kitty couldn't shake the feeling that Cheshire had taken the card knowing that it wouldn't help her in the slightest. Perhaps the game had ruined her already. If anything, it only served to strengthen her resolve, determined to win and set things right. Turn Cheshire back to her blonde, cheerful self. And Bitch to the youthful and modest person she'd cherished as her friend. And Ruby to whatever the hell she were before the game..
"Alright. All eyes here suckers, I'm about to take this whole thing from right under your noses!"
Competitive as ever, that bitch..

I'm looking to write a different ending for each winning character. Hoping I can take a different approach to each one and make something fresh that satisfies all ends of the spectrum for what people want ^^

2023-05-16 12:29:00 +0000 UTCGood to know! Cheating and rule violations definitely make sense even at this stage, given how messed up everyone is. I'm glad to see we'll potentially get an ending where Alice wins!

2023-05-09 17:04:35 +0000 UTCThe game is technically finished finished once either Bitch or Kitty crosses the finish line. No ifs ands or buts about it. That being said, it's still possible, though highly unlikely, that a potential victor chickens out before actually scoring the winning roll. There's also the premise that the roll could be manipulated in a way the game deems cheating, which could lead to all sorts of upsets. All outcomes are as one would expect, extremely unlikely. Though they could theoretically happen. This way I'll be able to write different endings where each of the remaining three players win. The aftermath of the game will of course depend on the final wish of the victor.
