The temperature and sun was just like the day before but the lack of any wind made it feel that much hotter. On the bright side, Rachael could wear her hair freely without worrying that it'd get messed up.
While her hair had been completely revamped from last time, her outfit had not. Same pair of daisy dukes, albeit with a shorter, if not slightly pinker crop top.

The plan was to meet up with Rebecca and the guys near the spot they'd been last time. Before even entering the park itself, Rachael could tell it was packed with people. Saturday and Sunday are prime days for spending time with friends and family. No school, no work.

I hope they've found a spot already..

There truly was a massive amount of people. Couples on dates. Kids playing hide and seek. Families out on a hike. People walking dogs. Exactly the type of environment Rachael used to avoid. Sure, her main motivation for studying sociology in the first place was people. She loved people ..at a distance. At least large clusters of them. Walking through the winding paths towards the large field in the middle of the park, Rachael felt conflicted. On one hand, the sheer amount of people out and about was overwhelming, yet at the same time, the unfamiliar glances she received as she progressed deeper into the woodlands made her all excited. As she walked down the dirt path, Rachael unconsciously added a tad more sway in her step than usual.

The looks she'd gotten while waiting for Rebecca the other day were one thing. But today? Walking alone through the park with her blonde mane hanging freely, clothes even skimpier? Sheesh
In all seriousness, Rachael's attire was more than respectable for a day as hot as this. Heck, there were girls walking around in bikini tops to cope with the heat.

Speaking of bikini tops, here was one right now. And it was attached to none other than Rebecca herself. Laying back on the same checkered blanket as before, Rachael's best friend seemed to be vibing to some summer playlist without a care in the world.

"That's quite daring, no?"

Without moving a muscle, Rebecca kept remained flat out on the blanket as she responded to the snarky comment.

"What do you mean? Are we experiencing the same thing here, Rache? It's fucking HOT! You should be glad I'm still wearing anything at all, this heat is unbearable!"

"Whatever you say.."

Yea. It was hot out. Was it hot enough to necessitate whatever Rebecca had going on? Hell no. But Rachael understood not to pry any further. Knowing her friend, she probably wanted to completely conquer whichever of the four guys had caught her eye at the party. And if displaying the wares in all their glory was the way to go about doing it? Power to her..

"..So where are the others? You mentioned the guys were coming too?"

"Hmm? Someone's excited! They're just around the corner getting some wat- HOLY SHIT RACHE!"

Rebecca finally looked up at her friend whom she barely recognized. Even after the teasing, she NEVER would've expected the Rachel Simmons to dye her hair, and BLONDE of all things! Maybe she could see her going a shade or two darker, but nothing remotely as eye catching as this.

The reaction wasn't too far off what Rachael had expected, as a matter of fact, it was a tad underwhelming. Perhaps it wasn't as big of a shock as it could've been considering the recent turn of events in her own actions and priorities.

"You like it?"

"What do you mean "you like it?"!? I fucking LOVE it!! Wait til' the guys get a whiff of this! They'll be all over you!"

Rachael found herself getting unreasonable amounts of joy from that last bit. Never once in her life would she have thought herself capable at swooning or otherwise having butterflies at the prospect of attention of all things. Especially not that type of attention. Yet, here she was. Waiting eagerly, like a dog, for the four studs to come back from their water mission.

"Just ..stay away from Mark"

Rebecca said with a smirk. Obviously something had happened at the party the other night. Not that Rachael was one to complain. She hadn't been in the best of moods during their little skirmish with the quiz game the last time around, so any preferences as to which guy she fancied were yet to be made. Though it had been Hugh that initially proposed she dye her hair, so there was that at least.. Fingers crossed they didn't intend to play that same game again. Usually Rachael's domain, she had a hard time keeping up with the trivia. Even things she thought she knew seemed as though they were slipping away. At least that sort of trend is justifiable now that she's a blonde and all..
