Halloween Special!

It's Halloween, and all the kids in the neighborhood are out and about, dressed as all kinds of monstrosities while gathering their fill of candy. Of course, the kids aren't the only ones traveling between houses, more often than not, they're accompanied by their parents or older siblings. Among the groups of children and the occasional adults, there's a more ..unique set of trick-or-treaters. What sets them apart from all the others? They're all well into their twenties.

While the whole goal of trick-or-treating is to get the treat, using the prospect of tricks as an underhanded tactic. This set of trick-or-treaters didn't really mind the candy gathering at all. In fact, they were more likely to give away any candy they were able to gather to some random kids by the end of the night. So why then, would a group of five adults bother with trick-or-treating, if candy wasn't the main motivator? Simple, they were all about the tricks.
Each dressed in a unique outfit, the main goal of the evening was the little game they'd made up for themselves. It's only objective was to make whoever opened the door as uncomfortable as possible, be that through their costume or whatever way they decided to carry themselves during the short candy handoff. The price? Glory ...And an all expenses paid weekend stay at a spa resort of the winners choosing, all generously provided by their sponsors, the losers.

Split into two "teams", team one consisted of Abbey, Audrey and Baron. Team two boiled down to being just Cassandra and Mai. Whichever player managed to arouse the greatest reaction from the person at the door during each individual house-visit would score a point for their team. Most of the girls, Mai, Abbey and Cassandra had each opted for costumes that would serve them especially well with the male crowd. Meanwhile, Baron had gone for a straight up shock factor. Lastly, Audrey felt that she had some catching up to do, with how "conservative" her costume was. One might think that this was unfair. How could a team of two have any hopes of bringing the fight to the team of three? Well, the point tally would be weighted to account for the lobsided teams. Any point scored by the smaller team would count as one and a half.

By the end of the evening, both teams were tied for points with only one house left to visit. The creepy, old one by the end of the street. It wasn't a house they'd ever visited on Halloween, even as kids. A witch was rumoured to live there, though they in their older years realized how silly that whole folktale was. Now, standing face to face with the house which had scared them growing up, the group were discussing who should go first.

"Your team went first in the first round, we should get dibs this time."

Baron wasn't about to lose on the last house. Especially not considering the fact that he'd been parading around the neighborhood in a dress the whole time.

"Sounds fair. I'm not too keen on seeing the witch firsthand, I'll gladly let you losers test the waters first."

Cassandra said teasingly, not actually convinced that there was a real witch living in the house.

"Sublime. I'll go first if you don't mind, Baron."

"All good with me."

And so Abbey would be the first person to approach the house, looking back with an exaggerated look of horror on her face as her feet made contact with the unkept tiled path leading to the front door..

As she stepped on to the porch, the old wooden panels creaked with every step. The rest of the house was in similar condition, looking as though it'd been left completely neglected for decades. It was a miracle that the HOA hadn't made a case against the abysmal state in which the entire property had been left. Had it not been for the singular, dim light that shone through a pair of white curtains by what Abbey assumed to be the living room, she would most definitely have assumed that the house had been left a long time ago. She mentally went through her strategy one last time before knocking on the big wooden door in front of her.

Not even a second had passed before she could hear someone on the other side, slowly unlocking the door. The first thing that stood out to Abby when she finally stood face to face with the homeowner was her age. It wasn't some old hag like she'd believed forever, it was a fairly young woman, though undoubtable a little older than herself.

"Oh my! I never expected someone to come knocking, no one ever does. I'm afraid there's no treats for you here! But I do wonder, aren't you a little ..too old to be doing trick-or-treating?"

The woman looked quizzically over at Abbey, seemingly unphased by the ridiculously shameless bunny "costume" she was wearing.
Abbey immediately assumed her role, and began doing her thing in an attempt to make the assumed witch uncomfortable.

*Moan* "I'm not after those types of treatss~"

She said in an overly sexualized and drawn out manner, licking the entire length of her right index finger while her other hand roamed over her chest and and slowly made it's way downwards.

Her little display didn't appear to be working, as the woman in the doorway only seemed to be amused by the shameless act.

"Aren't you a feisty little vixen?"

She leaned a little to her right to get a better view of the little crowd of onlookers who appeared to be Abbey's friends and quickly understood what the ordeal was.

"If that's the way you want to do things, I'm sure I can muster up a little trick or two myself!"

The woman began chanting in a totally foreign language, catching Abbey a little off guard. She'd dismissed the woman as being a witch for two reasons, one, she seemed way too young. And two, witches only existed in fairytales. Now, the person being uncomfortable was Abbey, though only for the briefest of moments. A green fog seeped through the lips of the woman at the door, slowly making it's way towards Abbey, enveloping her entirely. While the smoke covered her whole body, it forced its way into every open nook and cranny of her body, forcing out cough after cough, each one a little more high pitched than the last.

When the smoke finally dissipated, Abbey was left dumbfounded on the porch. Her entire outfit had shifted color to a bright white, while also having shrunk and shifted dramatically. Her skin, perhaps contrasted by the lighter fabric, seemed to be a couple of shades more tanned than before. Lastly, her previously ample breasts had grown a good three cup sizes, but sat unnaturally firm on her chest.

"Uhm. Like, what was I doing here?"

"You're at the wrong address, my dear. You asked me if this was the party where you'd been rented in as a dancer. The house you're looking for is further down the street. Number 69, not 96!"

"Haha. sixty nine~.. -Thank you lots!"

Abbey then turned around and skipped down the road, completely ignoring the gathering of people who used to be her friends.

The witch shut the door and awaited the next victim eagerly. She hadn't had this amount of fun in years.

"Anyone else who saw that bunny girl leaving the witch's house?"

Nick asked, genuinely in awe by the sheer absurdity of the sight.

"Yea, what's the deal with that?"

"I'm sure she had the wrong address or something."

"That makes sense."

Neither of the friends seemed to remember Abbey, or that she'd been talking to them just moments prior. The bunny girl didn't occupy their thoughts for long, as the group had to come to an agreement regarding who was to approach the last house of the night first.

"Well, since you guys started I'd argue it's only fair that we get to finish."

Nick reasoned.

"But you've gotten to start at more houses than us! We should get dibs on this last one!"

Cassandra wasn't about to take the unfair hand which Nick insisted on dealing her and Mai. He and Audrey had been quick to approach a lot of the houses, something which bothered neither Mai nor Cassandra until they realized the obvious advantages there were to going first, like the shock factor. Amazingly, the two girls had managed to keep up with Audrey and Nick thanks to their more drastic approach. Audrey was pretty much dead weight with her conservative costume.

"Gah. Fine.."

Nick caved it, conceding the advantage of going first to the two girls.

"So which one of you is it?"

Cassandra raised her hand and declared herself as the brave one to take on the witch first. With her skimpy cat costume and ability to improvise, she had no doubt in her mind that she could make whoever lived there uncomfortable enough to score the last point for her team.

With a spring in her step, she confidently made her way to the front door before knocking.

Almost as though the resident had been expecting her, the door was answered almost immediately. Eerie.

"Well hello there! What are you supposed to be today?"

The surprisingly youthful woman asked as if the cat ears and tail didn't give it away immediately..

"Today I'm a kitten, but I'll be your sex-kitten any day~"

Cassandra purred and winked at the strange woman standing in the doorway.

"Tempting offer, I must admit. Unfortunately, the position as my familiar has already been taken by Alfonso. But rest assured, I'm certain we can find a spot to fill you in."

Baffled at how wrong the woman had interpreted the comment, Cassandra opened her mouth to clarify the meaning behind her words only for them to get caught in her throat. Try as she might, she couldn't get them out. Just a gurgling sound until..

"Meow!"

"Meow!?" MEOW MEOW!!"

"I'm sorry, what was that? I'm afraid my understanding of cat is a little rusty.."

A chill made it's way up Cassandra's body. Looking down, she was horrified to see that all her clothes had vanished. The only remains were that of her choker, which looked more akin to something like a cat collar, and her cat-ear accessories. Feeling a strange brushing on the top of her naked shoulders, Cassandra raised her hands to touch her hair, finding it to be much shorter than just a moment ago.

Her hair wasn't the only thing brushing along her skin. Goosebumps hit her all over when a strange sensation graced the middle of her back, where her hair used to hang. Looking back, Cassandra saw the tail accessory still there, looking a lot more ..lively. Tugging at the strange appendage, to her surprise, resulted in pain. Despite her best efforts to jerk it loose from wherever it now sat mounted, the tail wouldn't budge, now being no less a part of her than the very hand she used to pull it with.

Right as Cassandra's panic culminated, it suddenly vanished entirely, leaving the cat-girl in a strangely calm state. Looking up at the strange woman, she didn't feel as though anything was wrong. Instead, she found herself awaiting some sort of ..permission?

"Alright. Off you go. And remember, no dragging dead mice or rats back into the house!"

Without further ado, Cassandra the cat went on her merry way, passing by a strange group of people dressed in various costumes.
