Quick Poll - What's your take on all the non-Devilla PoV chapters?
Added 2024-03-25 01:38:12 +0000 UTCBasically, I'm torn. I kind of want to get back to writing from Devilla's perspective - she is the main character, after all - but right now, other characters just have more to say.
At the moment, I'm thinking of doing the next couple chapters from Feyra's PoV, before shifting back to Devilla and staying there for a while. I wanted to know what other people think - whether you're enjoying the Feyra chapters, or if you'd prefer I just rush back to Devilla.

Also, I'm wondering if Feyra has fully picked up on the fact that Eena has been actively defending Lucy, even when the heroine isn't present. I realize that she's scared shirtless, and thus probably part of the reason her mouth has gone into default mode (which is snark for her), but ... yeah, someone planning to just murder the heroine wouldn't normally seem so vehement in speaking up for her, especially when it seemingly wouldn't gain her anything to do so. Just ... interested in seeing how long (if ever) it'll take Feyra to put that little bit together.

2024-03-26 00:00:40 +0000 UTCOne piece of advice I've often heard for writing has been "write about the most interesting part of whatever your story is." And I think that same principle applies to PoV for a story with multiple PoV characters. Choose whomever you feel will be the most interesting person to see something through their eyes for any given scene. Your intuition as a writer has served you well thus far: trust it and the characters to tell you who needs tell any given part of the story.
