Yugioh Gx Alice: Homecoming 2 Part 11-12

A week had passed since then, and Adrien Gecko had announced to hold for all of the Ra Yellow and Obelisk Blue students. As for the Slifer Red students he just gave them several food trucks, since he wanted to be fair. They might not live up to the same quality as the Ra and Obelisk students, but they still deserved to be recognized in some small way.

Among some of the students that were invited, there was Alexis, Chazz, Jesse, Syrus, and the one and only princess of Duel Academy herself Alice Rhodes. And to make the party more interesting everyone was required to wear formal attire.

The men and Jesse wore black suits, while Alexis wore a long dark blue dress, and Alice wore a short dark blue dress with frills. Alexis had made sure that the two of them spent hours getting ready for this party. Alice was a bit embarrassed, but Alexis was satisfied with her work. Luckily Alice could now stand properly, and her health was getting better. While she did do a bit of casual tabletop dueling, she stayed away from anything competitive. She wanted to duel, but Alexis was very firm stopping her.

“Alice… you look nice~,” Jesse said, coming over to Alice and Alexis, with a drink for each of the two sisters.

“Hmm~, I can see what you’re trying to do here, but I shall allow it~,” Alexis said. While she didn’t really trust Jesse she couldn’t stop Alice from liking them. It was a shame, but for her sister, she would accept it.

“Urgh! How dare he!” Chazz yelled, barging into their area, ruining the moment that Jesse was trying to make for Alice. She spent all week trying to figure out how to approach Alice with the help of her duel spirits, and Chazz just ruined it!

“How dare he think that he’s better than me!” Chazz yelled. “Alexis, you don’t think that he’s better than me, do you?”

“Ugh Chazz get away from me,” Alexis said, pissed off that he was trying to cling to her.

“I can see that someone can’t help but make a scene,” Adrian said, making his way over to the group. “Is there a problem here?”

“A problem? Yeah, there’s a problem here!” Chazz yelled at Adrian. “The problem is that there is only room for one spoiled rich kid at this academy and that’s me!”

“…Um I don’t think that’s something to be proud of,” Adrian said, confused just as everyone else was by Chazz’s words.

“How dare you look down upon me!” Chazz yelled at him.

“I seriously have no idea what’s going on here,” Adrian said back to him. He had never met someone this full of himself before. It was kind of sad.

“That’s it Gecko I challenge you to a duel!” Chazz yelled for everyone to hear.

“Fine, I accept your challenge, but it will have to wait,” Adrian said before going to the center of the Ball. “Everyone I have an announcement to make!” Adrian yelled out for all to hear.

“I am hosting a Survival Duel Tournament! And the winner of this tournament shall receive one of the treasures of the Gecko Family!” he said to everyone at a podium holding a duel disk made of gold and jewels.

“WOOAAAHHHH~!!!!”

Everyone started to gather around as Adrien explained the rules to them. Alice wanted to join, but she knew that Alexis wouldn’t let her, so she decided to be a mere spectator this time around.

“Now let’s all have fun~! Adrian yelled, starting his tournament.

“Wow, you’re so scared to face me that you resort to having other people do it for you,” Chazz said arrogantly back to Adrian.

“I wouldn’t dream of doing something like that,” Adrian said back to him. “This event was planned from the beginning. Though now I have a proper excuse to duel the champion of the Genex Tournament.”

“Finally you understand my greatness!” Chazz said, not understanding that there was something else going on in the shadows.

“Though to be honest I would rather have a duel with you~,” Adrian said, walking closer to Alice and Jesse. “Though I have heard about your unfortunate recent health issues, so I shall wait until you are better. I have heard a lot about you, and can’t wait to learn more~,” he said before leaving the ballroom with Chazz angrily yelling at him.

“…Great we have another Chazz,” Alexis said, to her sister and Jesse.

“I don’t know, I kind of like the way he thinks~,” Alice said to Alexis’ surprise.

“I agree,” Jesse said, handing Alice a small plate of cookies. It was important to keep her well-fed and full of energy.

“What! How can you not see that Adrian is just like Chazz, flaunting his money around?” Alexis asked them, dumbfounded by her sister and Jesse.

“I don’t know, I think that there is more to him than can be seen on the surface,” Alice said to her. “Chazz is a pretty open guy, so it’s easy to deal with him. I don’t know how to describe it, but it feels like Adrian is only showing us what he wants us to see.”

“….”

“What, I can be perceptive too~,” Alice said, pouting.

“Well I believe you,” Jesse said to her, realizing once again that Alice was the only one that she could ever love. “In fact, Adrian and I are childhood friends, so I know how he is, and he’s nothing like Chazz.”

“What do you mean?” Alexis asked Jesse.

“I will tell you since Adrian doesn’t care if people learn this, but I would rather you not judge him is a negative light because of it,” Jesse said back to her.

“Don’t worry we promise~,” Alice said, lightly touching to back of Jesse’s hand to reassure her.

“Thanks,” Jesse said back to Alice, falling more in love with the kind and sweet angel before her. “Before we met Adrian’s life was not easy. He was abandoned by his birth parents when he was 5 years old, in the middle of the desert. He spent many days trying to find his way back to his parents, only to end up passing out on the outskirts of a town. If it wasn’t for the president of the Gecko Corporation finding him that day he would have died. And luckily for Adrian, he was adopted as their son, as raised as their own.”

“Since that day Adrian has done his very best to help those that are at the bottom. Many relief efforts have been manned and funded by Adrian’s own personal finances. Even now this tournament has a deeper meaning to it.”

“What do you-”

“Eeeeeeekkkkk!!!!”

“They’re all collapsing! What’s going on here!?”

While they were talking Adrian finished his duel with Chazz, but when he did everyone that was dueling around the whole Academy collapsed! Viper had planned to kill Adrian with his recent duel, but Adrian knew that and prepared for this tournament in advance. One student dying could be covered up, but a few dozen couldn’t. Viper was given no other choice but to lower the absorption rate to keep everyone from dying.

SPLASH!

There was a loud splash from outside, causing Alice the others to head outside where they saw Chazz and Adrian passed out in the water! Adrian had them dueling in the air above the Obelisk pool, and when they passed out, they ended up falling into the water!

“Adrian!” Jesse yelled, jumping into the water to save Adrian while several other students were helping Chazz.

“Adrian are you alright!? Speak to me!”

“Ack-ack,” Adrian coughed up some water, trying his best to stay awake. “It-ack… t looks like I lived,” Adrian said weakly.

“Don’t say it as if, you weren’t sure!” Jesses yelled back at him.

“…Sorry… but now there is more proof,” Adrian said with a small smile on his face. “Viper…won’t…won’t be able to…es….escape…” he said before passing out. Viper’s plans were soon to be relived to the whole school. It was only a matter of time. Though Viper wasn’t going to go down without a fight.

“Chancellor Sheppard! Chancellor Sheppard!” Crowler and Bonaparte yelled, storming into Viper's office. “Dozens of students have just been brought to the infirmary as a result of the survival duels! Viper has to be stopped!

“Chancellor are you… listening?”

Dear Crowler, I left on a business trip. You and Bonaparte are in charge of the school. If anything happens to the school while I’m gone, I will hold the two of you accountable.

“Grrrrr!!!! That fucking weasel!” Crowler yelled out in frustration. “He’s always running away when things like this happen! It’s not fair!!!!”

“This isn’t right!” Alice yelled out in frustration, seeing that the gym was now being used as the infirmary as more and more students were getting injured thanks to Viper's survival duel.

“Professor Crowler something has to be done! This can’t go on! Viper has to be stopped! The Bio-Bands are draining the energy of the students!”

“And there is no way to take them off!” Jesse yelled at him.

“Quiet! Don’t you think that I want to stop this!?” Crowler yelled at them. “Chancellor Sheppard left again and placed me in charge! I’m trying to find Viper, but he is nowhere to be found. I need to go now!”

“It’s up to us to put a stop to Viper,” Alice said to the group. We need to do this before anyone else gets hurt.” Though it would be hard. More and more students were getting injured by the survival duels by the minute.

“Then let’s head over to Adrien,” Jesse said to the group. He should know where we should go.”

“Let’s go!” Alice, Alexis, Syrus, Jim, and Hassleberry yelled as they rushed off to Adrien.

CRASH!

The moment that they reached Adrien’s room they crashed through the door and fell onto the ground.

“Well that’s some way to make an entrance,” Adrien said to them, believing that he was awake. “I guess you came here to figure out where Viper is hiding.” Adrien knew that to accomplish his goal he would need their help. While he didn’t want to get his childhood friend involved there was nothing else that he could do for her and the girl she like besides this. Hopefully, they would be fine after all of this.

“Adrien, how are you?” Jesse asked concerned for him.

“I’m fine,” he said back to her. “I came prepared, so this much is nothing. You guess should be more focused on taking down Viper than you are on my health. Here I loaded Viper’s location into my pad, follow it to him and end this.”
