Sunland: Orders of Chivalry - New Design Contest!

Greetings my lord,

The capital of our great Empire of Sun is celebrating. Over the next few weeks, the biggest festivity of this lustrum will begin: the cup of the four kings. The four Orders of Chivalry of the Empire of the Sun will attend the Emperor's call to fight in the different tournaments that will take place throughout the festival, with the aim of deciding which Order will take the place of the Emperor's escort for the next five years.

The Emperor has assigned you an important mission: you will be the person in charge and guardian of the census of the Orders. Under your tutelage we hope for the perfect development of this great event. You can start with the census by updating the name and history of the great Orders, as well as any other information that you consider relevant to bring to the attention of the Emperor.

Good evening guys!

The time has finally arrived to present you the second Highlands Miniatures Design Contest: Sunland, the Orders of Chivalry!

The idea behind this contest is to fill the four Orders of Chivalry that will be part of Sunland, the main faction of the Empire of Sun, with your own creations and ideas!

When the contest ends and along the next few months, we will create these Orders and some amazing props and buildings to recreate Cup of the Four Kings’ tournament.

CONTEST RULES

• 1. The name and background of the Order of Chivalry must be original and not copied from any other company *coff coff*
• 2. The final entry must include a chivalry shield (coat of arms), a name for the Order, a small background story/lore and the description of the armour and weapons used by the Order.
• 3. You can use the provided Word template or create your own, following that scheme. You can also print the PDF version and fill it by hand:

• 4. The draft selection will be composed of eight entries. The four winners will be chosen with the help of the patrons through a poll, with these eight selected entries as options. The winners’ designs will be sculpted, pre-supported and will be part of the upcoming releases.
• 5. The contest will end at 10th of March 2022 (23:59pm UK time).
• 6. You can upload the final entry to our Discord server, under the channel #sunland-orders-of-chivalry or you can send us the final design by email to dustinhighlands@gmail.com
• 7. You must be a patron of Highlands Miniatures to enter the contest
• 8. Only one entry per person.
