Knights of the Rising Sun - Full Preview!

Quick post today to start the week with a smile! Here we let you the preview of the Knights of the Rising Sun mounting young griffins. ☀️
The unit is composed of three Knights of the Rising Sun with modular heads, weapons and shields and four young griffins, one of them without any kind of armour; with three custom bases available for round and square bases. Also, we have created a custom shield and a specific weapon for this knights based on a poleaxe.
To work on the young griffings we found some cool historical references, specifically about the Opinicus, a variant of the classic griffin very common in the heraldic art of the middle age in England. The Opinicus were said to be born without wings which reportedly develop over the course of the creatures life, so they perfectly match our idea of the young griffin, leaving the big winged griffin only for the bravest hero of the Empire of Sun. Today we have uploaded to the Drive Archive the Sunland Knights on foot, so you can now download and print them, along with the Sunland Knights on horse. We are going to make the final cuts to these miniatures and send them to be pre-supported!
The last miniature for this November Release will be November Patreon Exclusive: The Baroness of Lunnenburg on horse! We are working on it and we will show you the preview very soon!

2021-12-06 18:40:15 +0000 UTCYes, that one probably got lost in the process of support the minis. We have just notified the missing file to Atlas and they will add the thin supports to that one as soon as they can :D
