FIFER's FIFA 21 Realism Mod 1.4 Hotfix

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday EA Released another minor update which will make the legacy files of the mod not work after you delete ModData (or it gets automatically regenerated by editing the mod order).

So, here's the hotfix.

I'm confused, what should I do if...

I updated the game and my mods don't work.

Download and install this hotfix

I updated the game and my mods still work.

Once you change the mod order, by adding or removing a mod, or changing the priority, the mods will stop working. It's recommended you download the hotfix now.

I haven't updated my game and my mods work fine.

In this case you don't need to download the hotfix. If you run into issues where the game won't launch or is forcing you to update, then your best bet may be updating the game and downloading the hotfix.

What about FIFA 22?

Great question. I got a huge new plans post coming soon, maybe in the next couple days.

The hotfix just updates the mod. No other fixes or new stuff.

Notes: (these are especially important)

- You need the latest FIFA Title Update (Title Update #20.2) to use the hotfix
- You only need 1.4 hotfix, you can delete old versions
- The installation process is the same as 1.2 and 1.3
- Old careers work with 1.4
- You need to use a new version of FIFA Mod Manager for 1.4. Version 1.0.8 is required and can be downloaded from https://www.fifaeditortool.com/download

- Once you have installed 1.4 Hotfix, be sure to go Launch > Dlete FIFAModData and launch for the first time you launch the game.
