How to fix crashes by changing directx
Added 2020-08-21 22:25:17 +0000 UTCHere's a little tutorial on how to prevent/fix the most common crashes:
1. Go into your FIFA 20 folder (normally located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\FIFA 20) and deleted the folder called "Moddata" (this will reappear when you next launch FIFA, which is fine)
2. Go into Documents/FIFA 20
3. There should be a file called fifasetup. Open it with a text Editor
4. On line 4 (or around there), look for DIRECTX_SELECT = 0. Change it to DIRECTX_SELECT = 1
5. Save the file
6. Launch FIFA again.
You will have to do this everytime there is a FIFA update, or you repair/reinstall FIFA.
