Sentinels relaxing

Relaxing by one of the moonwells near the Sentinel barracks in Darnassus, Leora was telling her sister sentinels of an encounter with a Horde warrior earlier.

"I'm patrolling in Darkshore, near that ruined tower northeast of Lor'danel you know. I smell something odd and as I realize it smells like an undead this Forsaken comes rushing at me from behind a ruined wall."

"Not sure what he was doing there really, he didn't look like a spy."

"What, horde spies have a uniform now?" Yinde asked sarcastically.

"No, but I shit you not, this guy was lugging around an axe almost as big as he was!" Leora replied. "That's not a spy's weapon, no matter what way you slice it."

"Anyway, I drew my weapons and we started fighting. He's fairly good but after a few exchanges he defelcts a thrust to the chest that cuts into his elbow."

Leora's voice shifted to a mix of amusement and disbelief. "It must have severed the tendons or something becuse the next thing, he takes a half-step back and brings the axe around to go for a powerful swing - and the lower arm is pulled loose at the elbow and flies off into the bushes still clutching the axe! You should have seen his expression!"

Yinde burst out laughing and Kalia covered her mouth, giggling with mirth.

"I cut his head off and then laughed so hard I cried for five minutes!" Leora finished, waving her hands around, mimicking the axe flying off and then her own decapitating strike.

Sethara, getting dressed after her own bath as she prepared to go off on patrol smiled slightly as she listened. Doleri on the other hand was still napping against Shadowfangs flank.

Having come in after a two month patrol in Stontalon she was taking full advantage of her off duty time to get some proper sleep.

The great nightsaber for her part opened one eye as the other sentinels laughed, but then closed it again and went back to dozing as nothing exciting, or any treats, seemed to be forthcoming.
