It must really suck to know that your mate is undead and isn't even able to rest in peace. :( I also wonder if his daughters joined another tribe because of the yet-disclosed tragedy? Interesting that they call them "ghouls" and not "night beasts." In Home these ghouls are a constant presence, dangerous if you're unprepared, but they can be kept at bay. I feel like in other stories the presence of ghouls would be the coming collapse of the world or the post-collapse. I'm looking forward to the day their origins are revealed.
