The heart-breaking part is how happy they all look when they start the journey, especially his mate. :( They had no idea things would go so horribly. Also, the look that Kargo is giving Roamer is telling. It makes me wonder if he's feeling regret again for leaving Roamer alone the night they got separated from Ferah, and he's thinking that Roamer could have had a similar fate? Just a thought.

It's nice to see Fjor open his heart up, it's healthy to communicate these things. Now that I'm looking at this, I'm now realizing why Axi (when MT was on their list) was saying something along the lines "Poor thing, he doesn't deserve to die alone from a broken heart" - she was referring to Fjor maybe now that I'm piecing things together. Wow, such a small line can mean so much to the story...
