I never thought of that... perhaps Ulfr is still alive? Fúss did say that if the spirits were with them that night, he wouldn't make it alive... I wonder what will happen considering he said that Ulfr never harmed males because it was a strict rule he followed.

Vizeryn

I sense meeting with Ulfr, with hopeful feelings. xD

I think people only made the comparisons to boost the ship, but even then, I still think it was kind of dumb. I wonder if Rogio and Roamer will get their own trackers considering they have to walk there, go to the MT, talk (or get caught/fight), and then go back (maybe, unless Ronja wants to go back with her family at Asmundr). Interesting things! Gah, I love thinking about the future.

This is what I absolutely love about Rogio. Rogio is incredibly intelligent and definitely has a bit more experience phycological-wise. He was able to see past Ranach's brutality and malevolence to see the bigger picture - a kind hearted male who was a tender and sweet lover and companion for a few moments before it disappeared back into maliciousness. Rogio, I can tell, is putting himself in Roamer's position. He's able to set aside his own demons and pain to sacrifice his time to make Roamer feel better. He's smart enough to not let Roamer just go on his own and he's definitely smart enough not to argue to Roamer. Rogio understands the mistake and made up for it with honest truth; "I didn't know who she was to you," such a small sentence as an apology can easily set it forward and Roamer's response is the exact opposite of what people's comparisons were to Kargo's. Unlike Kargo, Roamer is calm and level-headed - exasperated, sure, but he's much calmer than Kargo. While he's calm, Kargo was upset, angry, and hurt. The fact that people compared those situations together were admittedly dumb. Kargo lost his best friend and thought she was dead. He was grieving, tired, and he thought his best friend DIED. Roamer was lied to for over a month over something very important to him. Incredibly different situations and reactions. Kargo was aggravated and chased Roamer away. He basically pulled the equivalent of "I wish I never met you" kind of card. Roamer is exasperated - pissed because of it being kept in the dark and therefore shunned Kargo away because his mate kept something important from him. He basically pulled the equivalent of "Don't talk to me, I'm mad at you right now" kind of card. "I wish I never met you" and "Don't talk to me right now because I'm mad" are SO different and Kique made this play out beautifully. It's amazing to see how much of a big heart Rogio still has, despite being literally haunted by demons. He's tired and broken, his spirit is utterly gone. Instead of taking it out on others, he tries to help the best he can, and he did that absolutely beautifully right here with Roamer. These last chapters have been absolutely amazing. Keep up the astonishing work, Kique!

I don't want Rogio to go back to that aaaaaa

I did see the paralells with Kargo then and Roamer now. Compleatly different handle of different situations yes. And that is why I saw that. Both acted what someone like who they are would act in their situation. And Rogio here. Just an amazing dog. He felt with Roamer, understood him. And instead of talking him out of it, he wouldn't let Roamer go by himself in that state of mind. As Rogio knows what MT is, and about Ronja in there; her rank and how she treated Ferah. But the news from the Guild of POSITIVE change could mean something, so I understand him for also going for himsel, as long as he had someone with him, like Roamer.

Time to see Ranach, Ulfr again, and all that implies

I like reading your comments. Your thoughts on what's happening are really interesting

Patreon ate the comment I left on the previous page. I don’t feel like typing all that again. So I’m just going to say, I’m not surprised that Roamer is angry with Kargo—even if the latter and Ferah did have good reasons for not telling him. Though it was a nice parallel body language and all to when Kargo told Roamer to backoff. As this page, I’m not surprised Roamer is going back to the MT to talk to Ronja. When he told Kargo NOT to follow him, it felt like that was implied. If he was just going to talk to Ferah or Fjordor, he would have likely told Kargo not to talk to him. Following meant he had a place he wanted to go in mind, ie the Meteor Tribe. I was curious about what Rogio was going to do, and my guess that he may go around to meet up with Roamer was correct. While I get why Rogio is apologizing to Roamer about Ronja, I’m still not sure why he wants to go back to the MT. Isn’t he supposed to be dead in their eyes? Does he want to confront Ranach or Ronja? Or is he not happy in the MNT (Mightnightgarde Tribe)? Theory time! Perhaps Roamer and Rogio talk during the trip back, and through Rogio Snowbutt learns more about Kargo and Ferah? Bonus, maybe Rogio learns more about Ronja? Or maybe they just talk about Rogio’s lack of sleep and his perspective on Ranach and the MT in general? Just some thoughts. :)

Sure (: I will post it once this page has been uploaded to the comic site on Saturday

To follow my last pages comments, I have to say one thing : I am very happy how you handled all this situation Kique. The psychological pattern showing in these last 3 pages is extremely complex and researched, and rarely seen in animal-based comics. I love how Rogio understood who she was to Roamer only by his voice, and how he doesn't try to force him or anything. After all, if I remember correctly, Rogio is the only one of them to actually have interacted with Ronja before Kargo, Ferah and Roamer were put in his life. More, he most likely completely know WHY she is still at the Meteor Tribe, because he knows Ranach. He knows she is not evil, and that she is not a killer or anything like the common MT members. Also, as far as I remember, I think he is aware of the mating, or at least kinda figured it out. The difference with Rogio and Kargo/Ferah is mainly that he KNOWS Ranach, from the inside. He know the real Ranach, the one not tainted by the mental illness caused by inbreeding. It doesn't means he think Ranach is a sweet potato, but that he knows, way more than Kargo and Ferah, what the hell is going on there, because he grew up as the second hand of the Tribe's heir. Kargo and Ferah were merely just Victims of the MT, while Rogio had access to the insider point of view of both Leaders and Members. Lot of you are like "what the hell he go back there it makes no senseeeeee". It actually does. A LOT. 1. Axiliyah told about a very positive change in the MT ; any dog that know her -obviously Rogio does-, know that the Guild despise the MT, so they would not tell about a fake "positive change". >> Curiosity. What is happenning there? What is the positive change, that the Guild leader ( FEMALE ) approve of? Doesn't take a master in science to figure it out. 2. Rogio KNEW what lying to Roamer would lead to. Indeed, he was the only one not aware of the relation within Roamer and Ronja (information retention again), otherwise he would had told Roamer : Rogio hates lies. There's nothing Rogio despite more than Lies. Lies DESTROYED his life. Lies is the base of every single downside of Rogio's life. Mostly because even Ranach lies. again, Ranach case is an obvious mental illness, and Rogio obviously seems to think that too ; it's why he kept trying and trying to help Ranach fight off his illness. Rogio is the character that have the most experience with how much lies can be destructives, no matter why they are made, no matter how they are made. 3. He see himself in Roamer. More than any other dog, he know what Roamer feels like. Point 2 resume well why, so i wont repeat. The only thing Rogio crave for to help him go better is someone honest, there for him, not as a mate, but as a friend, brother, whatever. And it's exactly the same thing Roamer need at the moment. Sometimes, friends are not there to make you change your decisions, but to make sure you safely get to your set goal. I honestly always loved Rogio, because he is the ultimate Martyr of that series, and mostly ; he doesn't whine or complain about it. He see the good in everyone, he is able to see behind the illness, behind the fears, behind the traumatic events... He judge others for who they are inside, and will never lose faith into his beliefs : Being yourself, truth to yourself, and truth to the others, is the only way one can survive in such a world as Aedra. He witnessed Rhovanion's loyalty to his family, his pack, no matter what. I think he is simply doing the same : Roamer is now his pack, his family. He follows him, because he is loyal to those who have proven themselves to be truthful. Roamer never lied, he always remained out of such behavior, as well as Rogio. For a soul like Rogio, it is NORMAL to follow the one who doesn't do what is for you the main problem of the world : lying. To me, this page is just a perfect showcasing of a dog choosing his real alpha. They fight for the same things. They have questions, and the answers all lays in the same place : The Meteor Tribe. I still think Roamer's reaction has nothin to do and is in no way similar to what Kargo did when Ferah 'died'. Roamer is calm. Pissed off, but calm. He is not acting stupidly. He is not putting anyone else in danger. He is not chasing off anyone. He just have a goal : having answers. He isn't trying to find a corpse or going crazy because 'anw my best friend died so i'm in a total nerve wreck despair mode'. Kargo's reaction was perfect for the situation it was into. Roamer reaction is perfect for the situation it is into. They are NOT THE SAME at all, and it's perfectly correct. I know Kique love to do parallels, but generally not these kind of parallels, especially happening almost in the same chapters, using the exact same pairings ( Kargo/Roamer ). Again, it's my advice, Kique may correct the last part of it if i'm really wrong, but honestly I do not believe Kargo and Roamer's reactions are made to be considered as "the same". Mostly : I do not see where any of you see loss, rage, craziness, denial and total despair in Roamer's reaction (in this page, but also in the two previous). He is frustrated. Nothing more. His fur is not puffy, his stances are not at all showcasing an animal in mental distress. He just look like someone having convictions and acting like a real adult? Kargo acted in total Denial when Ferah 'died'. In no way Roamer is acting in any form of Denial since the last 3 pages? All he say is that Kargo is wrongly judging Ronja of being a cold blooded heartless assassin, and that he knows her more than Kargo. Which is actually true? Kargo knows nothing about Ronja. He just assumes everything and put all in same basket : dog wanting to not kill MT members = evil dog. I do not see in what telling Kargo he's wrong is being in a crazy Denial mode like Kargo was with the Ferah event. The only thing I could suggest to many readers : take time to go read a bit about psychology. You seems to miss a LOT from the whole specter of reactions and classify them under the same label. ( not saying you're not educated and blablabla, just see it as : there's Magenta, Pink, Hot pink, soft pink, salmon, etc., but for someone not taking time to learn about it, it's just all pink/purple. ) Once you do that, you'll completely be even more amazed by the content of this comic ( and I don't even mention Asmundr too! ). again, magnificient work, Kique :).

Viktor

1 part brave... 3 parts fool. This just seems like a really bad idea, if nothing else of the sort. I hope Roamer knows what he's doing...

Spiritstrike

Rogio, tired or something? < Going back to the place where his ex tried to kill him. < That's a joke. I wonder why he's going back. My fav boy :c I'm worried, Maybe he wants to see how things are or! Maybe he's just trying to help roamer out. All I hope is that he's in good enough condition to travel all the way back, and now I wonder what fjordor will think of losing two members already without word, even though it's likely they'll come back. I also saw on the map that keirr and aira are by the tribe. It would be interesting if they all bumped into each other. I really hope he at least finds Ronja. As for what I said on the last page I stand by it. I don't think kargo is fully to blame here for something everyone else took part in, kind of a different character parallel of when kargo left roamer for ferah. I think someone else said I don't remember, I do hope rogio will be okay.

Hayley

Oh boy, this will become very interesting if Ranach is back at the MT. I kinda expected Rogio to join Roamer if he went back. Maybe facing his past will give him some closure. Hopefully. Poor sleepless guy :(
