Here's what I think about Ranach's return. First of all, like Fúss said, he abandoned his tribe. 16 days is nearly a month in Aedra's time laws and that, of course, is a long time considering each day has 21 hours (just a few off from earths). Abandoning your tribe is like going AWOL. Ranach basically went AWOL and deserted his post. Second of all, Ranach coming back will ruin everything. Okay, kind of a leap of saying everything, but I mean he'll ruin the changes Ronja has made. The MT's past has been focused on what would be our past in history; females are not allowed to have the same rights as males. This overall, I could tell, made the MT slower at getting stuff done, considering females were most likely tucked away safely in the tribe walls and not allowed outside while males roamed (and in this case, were most likely killed by Ferah and Kargo a LOT) and males were running on a short supply (since there was low fertility and they were the only ones able to do things). By him returning, Ronja's changes to the tribe will completely upset the balance needed to have a healthy tribe. Obviously, Ranach will NOT agree and will NOT like her changes because they're 'too dramatic' and 'it isn't the way he wants it' (probably) and since he's the Jarl, he most likely has full control over her as a Viscountess (even if he stated she has equal rights to him; he's known to lie and deceive, he could have bluffed.) So, by him returning, everything will just go to shit like it used to be previously. Ronja has a good heart; even though she rushes into things without giving a second thought and WANTED to go home, she stayed with the tribe because she thought she could help - and she did. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she let Ranach back into the fold, even after the stuff that went down between her and Ulfr. HOWEVER... that being said, I also wouldn't be surprised if she DIDN'T. [ <a href="http://home-comic.smackjeeves.com/comics/2302461/page-107/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://home-comic.smackjeeves.com/comics/2302461/page-107/</a> ] On page 107, Ronja rejected Ranach for him letting her being roped up and brought into the tribe against her will, completely scared and frightened and he did NOTHING to stop it. She rejected him because that's the moment he realized he was an asshole, even if she stuck up for him when Ferah [ <a href="http://home-comic.smackjeeves.com/comics/2348993/page-157/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://home-comic.smackjeeves.com/comics/2348993/page-157/</a> ] said he doesn't care about her and can't see past his own desires. So, I also wouldn't be surprised if she rejected him AGAIN because he left. She honestly didn't really question where he was at that time (at least I don't remember her doing so), so she probably didn't care at all about him leaving or at least didn't understand why it was so bad, (and so on.) Ranach looks terrible but surely she will most likely let him in due to them 'talking' on the script, however, I cannot be sure if Kique meant that being at the gate (right now) or in private. It's also hard to believe Sweet Nose will be a mother... poor thing... she isn't ready... she hasn't found herself and struggles to do so, so being a mother will make this even more tougher on her. It's hard to think about the drama too. If she leaves to bore her pups elsewhere (say at Asmundr to have support with friends and family), then Jonna will visit the dark spirits and make them regret leaving. If she stays and has her pups in the tribe, surely they'll be taken care of quite well and be able to survive the tribe because of her adjustments made to it to suit everyone way better, yet her family will miss out on her having pups (having the knowledge of her being pregnant even, too), and if she DOES happen to return to them with the pups (although unlikely without living in misery due to Jonna), then things will probably flare up over there with her father and everyone else. It's the cliche of her running off with a boy, winding up pregnant, him leaving and not wanting any part of it, and her either trying to survive as an only parent or attempting to return to her family for help. There's also the fact of Roamer being present, too. You never know, he might be so hurt that he might want to take her out of the tribe because he's afraid for her safety, etc. I don't think he'll wind up with Ronja and being mates with her because he's with Kargo and she has probably lost feelings for Roamer due to being occupied as a Vicountess. You never know though about her, but I don't think Roamer would leave Kargo and end up kissing or having Ronja as a romantic interest anytime soon. The reason why I think this is because of my statement on a previous post. What Roamer said to Kargo when he told him 'There is no 'us' anymore!" is basically the equivalent of him saying 'Don't talk to me and don't follow me, I'm mad at you right now' kind of thing. Everything will simmer with them and eventually, they'll have a closure talk and go back to being a healthy (or slightly healthier) ship. Interesting things are happening, though! We're getting closer and closer to Ronja finding out she's pregnant (or at least coming to terms with it) and we're also getting closer to whatever is blurred out on that script... *squeal* I really love this page because of the coloring. I love how the fog is slightly purple and how the moon creeps over it, as well as seeing the ghouls' eyes glowing nearby in the 7th panel... it sets down a night that's cold and windy with an eerie vibe to it. I love how everything has been drawn lately, especially the backgrounds! Ugh, I can't help it I'm a video game geek and I geek out easily over backgrounds of anything that are drawn very well. Óò Keep it up, Kique! I'm dying to see what this chapter and next chapter has in store for us. 🐾

Honestly, I really hope Ronja won't be foolish enough to let him back in. He's no longer needed in the MT since, first of all, he abandoned them for what Kique said...16 days. Second of all, he broke Ronja's trust. Third of all he lied to her and killed Zilas which I feel will be brought up soon. Also, the males don't want him back and the females don't want him back. I really hope Ronja just talks with him either outside the gate or right there on top of it. I really do because letting him back in would destroy all the current progress and changes. I don't care if he's the father of her pups he no longer has a right to be there.

Hope Ronja will interrogate him first before just open the gate for him like "Welcome home, sweetie! Was a nice vacation? :)" Is Ranach gonna try talk her to his side or something else.. Òó Or does he waits Ulfr is still here, being loyal to him? Hmm...

Ronja better not let him in. Remembering everything he did to her while she was there. He swindled her into letting her guard down and they dragged her into the tribe because of that. And he didn't protect her. He didn't save her like she thought he would. She blindly trusted him and he betrayed her. Bringing him back in gives all the power to him, gives him the ability to destroy what she's creating. Everyone wanted a change in the tribe. Especially the females. If Ranach comes back in, he'll ruin the chance at the tribe having a stable environment; where the members aren't just rungs on a ladder. Where their lives and skills make the tribe better and their lives can be better. His actions beforehand demonstrated how unfit the males saw him as Jarl. If they lost respect in him before, he's an outcast to them now. If Ronja is the one that lays down the proper judgement here, I'll be impressed about how this experience has changed her. And she'll have a thick skin for leading after all.

I'm not surprised, remember the jarl is passed through family plus fuss said that ranach was talked about a lot during he reign so I don't think the tribe has liked any of their leaders just put up wit them

Ranach looks like a mess, he's not just covered in branches and leaves, he's very thin. He's lucky he's even alive! 16 days is a long time to be away from the Tribe, but a lot can happen in that amount of time.

I get that they're pissed he abandoned them, but do they really despise him more than Ronja being in charge? I mean, they lost a lot of authority 🙈 I'm glad they're not simply welcoming him back though.
