I am so, so happy by this character development. I've never commented on any pages before (dA or otherwise) but I've been following along since the early days of Asmundr. As an abuse survivor, one of the hardest arcs to read through was the relationship between Lifa and Ranulfr. It was so realistically portrayed, what an abuse victim goes through, how the abuser isn't black and white with the abuse, etc. I was so afraid that Ronja would get pulled back under, especially with the (manipulative) news of puppies. After all, Lifa stayed with Ranulfr for as long as she did because she wanted a better life for her puppies. I'm so glad to see Ronja taking a stand for herself and the life she has built. Thank you for creating these comics. Although they touch on sensitive topics, the character development is always amazing and a pleasure to read. Ronja's quickly becoming one of my characters!

Ranach wanted to be powerful and in charge. He though he would use Ronja (and Rogio) to do that, instead all of his own plans have crashed and burned. He doesn't have Rogio to make himself feel good and he abandoned his tribe. Said tribe turned on his and now the outlander he planned to use as a pawn is in charge. Other than Ulfr as a fellow exile, Ranach doesn't have anyone who remotely cares about him. Though I think if he's still lurking in the area, things will be interesting when Roamer and Rogio return to the north.

My guess is that Ronja, Fúss and Vigr are on the right side of the gate (from the next to last panel view)? And Ranach, you all but yourself to blame. For you it was the worst, for the Tribe, the only good thing you did was bringing Ronja there, and it was the best that could have happened to MT. And she found herself, who she is, what she can do. You also helped Ronja. But you deserve anything bad that happen to you. And Sweet-Nose know what your weak spots are with her words. Good job, girl. And whoa! Those Night Beasts are tall! Good thing they don't climb walls then. o.O

Nice job Ronja, I'm proud of you :D Two things I think that are missing (tell me if I'm wrong!) : - I don't see the twigs again in Ranach fur and his coat don't look as messy as previous : is it normal ? - Also in 5th panel, we don't see Ronja, Fuss or Vigr or even the others. Where are they positioned for not seeing them in the 5th panel ? :)

I knew ranach were to bare his fangs at her, hopefully vigir stands with her now, but dang... look at how BIG that night beast is in the panel of him running, those killed by them and then not not reach peace in the afterlife I wonder if they remain traumatized.. that is horrifying and you actually made it look real? I can't believe it, it's almost as tall as the wall. Woah sorry I'm shocked lol because it's also beautiful and looks like a dog. Hmph. I wonder if tonight will be his last that thing appears to be following him. Or maybe he'll run into ulfr.. interesting either way! I LOVE this page *^*
