2018-03-30 19:03:30 +0000 UTCMaybe I was wrong about the pairing. Perhaps it *is* Rhov and Feaf. Here's some clues. 1. Kique asked a nickname for Rhov. So maybe that's Feaf's way of being playful or flirty by remarking him as 'Bright Eyes.' - considering Kique said 'I think Bright Eyes is a keeper :)'. 2. Rhov is going through a tough time right now. Consoling him and keeping him in high spirits by talking and playing with him to help cope with his loss is a good way to bond. 3. This is virtually holding hands in the dog-type world. She's placing her paw on him to not only say 'I'm here for you,' but she's also there to comfort him, just like you would do if your significant other was sad about something. Even to display your affection on your significant other, holding their hand is a way to express that. 4. Jahla and Rhov were young when they got together. Currently, his mate, Jahla, is stranded on an island with ALL of her kind. Purely her kind. Thakir is a good friend she isn't related to that is showing her around. Maybe being separated from each other for this long (because it's been awhile now) is just fate's way of making them just... let go. Jahla can't come back to the mainland without Father's help. Even then, it's risky to come to the island to disrupt your work and send the wrong message to the other Akiulfr's. She could try crossing, but she could die from drowning and from whatever creatures lurk beneath the waters there. Plus, she hasn't been in deep water very often, so the thought of it probably scares her. It's only a matter of time we get more page-time with the two to see how their chemistry works. BUT, this also could be Kique's way of throwing us off. Overall, now that I saw this teaser and I actually put my head in the right space, I think this pairing is a lot more possible, despite the rules being there to conflict the romance between Feaf and Rhov (or whomever she fancies.)
