Ulfr's fear is a bit funny though. Since the males are all pretty bonded (at least enough to talk to each other), even if Ronja randomly ordered for them to be punished... she has no way of carrying that out. His fear that all the males will be punished makes no sense, because the females were never given the opportunity to become strong fighters. He could take them out, all the males could. Ronja's the only one who's probably capable of defending herself. But yeah, def with Fuss and Javo.

I totally get their points. The males have grown up with this life. Life in the tribe is quite decent for a male, there´s food, there´s safety (as long as noone rebels) and there are females for pleasure and then suddenly there´s that outsider female in charge who turns their lifes upside down. Sure, this is a lot to take in, especially for Ulfr who knew that lifestyle the longest. They have the right to be wary about Ronja. Who wouldn´t in that situation? But right now both sides can´t exist without the other and I´m happy that at least most males and females seem to want to give it a try. I mean, they´re four experienced males, if Ronja would try to turn against them it´d be quite easy for them to pretend they want to talk with her and then take her down... They still have that option. So I´m with Fúss and Javo here. They could at least wait and see how this all develops.

Ulfr understands that the things he and others have done to females is wrong... So that is a good start at least. xD He is old, stubborn and he is in high rank, plus afraid of things going wrong. During 10 years of his life, he has not seen better days so he can not understand how much better things could be for everyone, including himself. He has hope for turning into good doge. Lettig go of old things and life does not happen just by snapping fingers. xD

I understand Ulfr in how he's thinking, born in the tribe and the eldest of the males. Ronja better watch her back with him. But Fúss is right. And Ronja see how much they need the males, as much as Fúss see making the females the same rights is the right thing to do. Let's see how it turns out in the end.

I love being able to see more of the tribes opinion as a whole! The other males had never been given much say before and I'm finding myself really enjoying their personalities and dynamics

Ulfr you shit. Though, it's not surprising he's acting like this and i'm oddly happy to see it. I like that he's not so willing to change and acts realistic, like a stubborn person set in their ways would. It makes things much more interesting! I feel more respect for the other males now since they're responding better to Ronja's rules than Ulfr is- maybe they can change? I doubt Ulfr will, though. Can't wait for more! Also, I love Fuss' attitude!

Maybe what he means about the fight is that she didn't reprimand Jonna for trying to get Ulfr punished? Saying she won't punish the males only made Jonna angry, and she didn't do anything about the fact that Jonna purposefully antagonized Ulfr. Fuss probably sees that as a problem. Which, technically, it is. But he is also right, she's new at this, has been through a lot, and is far from perfect. If not that though, then I don't really know

I remember in past comments people had been upset at the fact Ronja was handed this position. Honestly It creates and all too real conflict not often seen but that does exist. I've seen it in real life and I see it now. Ronja will have to struggle with gaining the respect of her tribe without having first earned it. and that is extremely hard. I fear for when Ranach returns. Not sure how many will stand by Ronja's new rules. Vigr is skeptical but can be convinced. So really it's mostly just Ulfr but...look at him! He's a friggin' brute! I bet even Kargo would struggle against him. Still lovin' Fuss! But I don't see how that fight has anything to do with her not being a perfect leader? Like I know she's not but I don't see how that could of been handled differently?

Watch Ranach not care and probably leaves to find a solution to help his problem, because he wants Rogio. Ulfr would be like, "damn..."

And I say a male that isn't Ranach, because Ranach is a special case right now. He had a very rough upbringing, but we also don't know exactly what he would have done if Ronja tried getting any word in for the females before everything happened and he tried to have Rogio killed. But it didn't seem like he was interested in changing things for the females either.

Glad to see that he's not willing to change. You're doing really well at keeping things realistic Kique, I really love the way you've gone about this comic! Ulfr has always felt to me that he would be a lot of extra trouble in this comic. Also, glad to see what Vigr is thinking, and maybe he can actually come around to all of this. But I don't have much hope for Ulfr, and honestly we really do need a male that isn't Ranach, that doesn't want this change. It makes sense that there would be more than one dog left in that tribe that enjoyed everything about it. The first panel speaks volumes depending on how you read it. Considering Fuss said that Ulfr would make a terrible leader, I have a feeling Ulfr doesn't have equality in mind when he's talking about their different ideas of how the tribe should be run.
