Really hope the sunset is foreshadowing too, that would so add to the coolness factor. This really could be the time everything finally blows up in her face. Learn about Zilas, realize that she's in over her head. Learn she's pregnant with the pups of Zilas's murderer. Not to mention face her fear of Ranulfr. Im crossing my fingers because that's the climax I've been hoping for. It's funny she's saying she made choices before thinking, cause that sentence could get way more meaning behind it.

I hope it's a hard fight, too. Someone pointed out that the blood red sunset could be foreshadowing. I want Ronja to see that her actions have consequences and not everything goes your way, even as a leader. ^_^;

Yeah hopefully that's the case if he fights solo. He's the oldest too, so he has the most experience, and his rank means he's physically active all the time, unlike the guards who mostly just sat and watched. He should be able to swat these two down, especially if Ronja locks up. My other concern about this being solo is he'll go after her, and Ranach or Fuss will save her like Rogio did for Ferah, which would also be too easy. Idk, really really hope it's a bloody hard fight.

Ah, I see where you're coming from. I'm just thinking that it would be like an RPG, where you have lots of people take on one big tough guy, and it's still a hard fight. I think it's going to be like that with Ulfr. I mean Ronja's not even armed. XD

I want it to be more fair because I'll be disappointed if Fuss and Ronja go untouched like Roamer did in the rescue. This guy is huge, and we know one other dog is on his side. Would be lame for him to be wasted and just easily taken out by a team. Especially since he represents the old MT ways, it's almost like as close as you can get to fighting the old Jarl, which is hella cool.

I'm kind of hoping that it's not a fair fight. Ulfr looks tough enough on his own. And being good doesn't always mean being fair.

Agreed. Fuss will probably be fine. I really hope it's a tough fight, more to remind us that this is MT Ronja's dealing with. Also hoping Ranach doesn't return right now, since he's a main and the spotlight will likely go to him as soon as he does. Ulfr vs Ronja/Fuss is cool enough. I hope the dog who sided with Ulfr joins top to make it a fair fight >: D get an Asmundr like battle going.

Kique confirmed multiple times it was an ambush. The white dogs secret weapons proved it. I even remember either a Kique reply or featured comment saying Roamer was right in telling Rhov to avoid or prepare to kill (even if he was blunt about it)/ aka Zilas attacking gave Zilas a chance to defend himself, because they would have killed him either way. And then all the ambush members and Ranach smiled and wagged their tails about it later. So no I actually didnt forget at all.

Haha yeah, these are big comics and I sometimes find myself even going back to Asmundr to reread it for better understanding. It's amazing how much more you pick up with each re-read. But that's why there's so much anger when it comes to Ulfr. And looking back on those pages, it's hard to see because of how far away they are in the panel, it does definitely seem like Ulfr was plenty happy to deliver the news to Ranach, and knowing now what we know about him, how he holds no remorse for his actions, I *think* it's safe to assume that he took pleasure in killing Zilas.

It's showdown time. Considering that Fuss was unhappy with how Ulfr wanted to cling to the old ways, even seeing Ronja as a target, I don't think he'd double-cross her. He knows if the Meteor Tribe is to grow, the harmful old destructive ways must go. My fear is that Ulfr is going to be tough, he was ranked a Commander under the old system. (Then again, Kargo was just a Shepard and he wrecked a lot of MT dogs.) I also wonder if Ulfr is ousted that he'll run into Ranach. According to the map, Ranach seems to be on his way back to the tribe.

You seem to be forgetting that the Meteor dog was IN their den. Zilas was literally defending his home, he didn't go out of his way looking for a fight. Furthermore, it was an ambush, remember the white dog had weapons hidden in the snow and the others were hidden. They were prepared to ambush and kill no matter what.

Agreed about Zilas. The last thing I want is Ulfr or Ranach's 'redemptions'. I will never look at them in a good light after such a needless murder. Especially now that Ulfr is confirmed to have no remorse for abuse, and Ranach tried to kill Rogio in the most brutal way possible. *slamming fists on table* Vengeance!

Something seems really off about this and I'm nervous. I have trust in Fuss because of how he reacted to Ulfr, but... Something isn't right. But I seriously, seriously hope this goes in the right direction and something happens to Ulfr. I'm still too bitter when it comes to Zilas. He needs that last bit of justice.

You know what, I think it would have been much more interesting if Ulfr was allowed to grow as a character and redeem himself. This looks like he's just being thrown away so as to prune the number of characters in the comic. Or this is a setup and the males are secretly planning to kill or boot Ronja out. That would be an awesome plot twist.
