She killed in the hopes she would return to normal, and she didn't get the hard skin and was fooled. What a jerk spirit. So the MT tribe's story was partially true, Aira did kill, but she didn't have family and Brodir's pack (pre MT) treated her like crap. Her anger is pretty justified. Also, she got that vicious scar before becoming a monster. Ouch.
