Roamer attacked Kargo's character first. Saying he hasn't changed when that's not true, the main reason they were going to all stay was so they could heal from past wounds and mental injuries. Roamer expects them to be okay with dropping the bomb that he's going back to the place of so much pain. Though it may be under new rule, just being in the same area can be really stressful, so the thought of it may hurt both Kargo and Ferah, like we saw when Rogio decided to make a new tent cause he couldn't bring himself to go into the old one. While Kargo is jumping to too many conclusions and getting too upset, that's how he has had to survive with Ferah running away from the tribe. Roamer could have explained how the tribe was different instead of such a brief description of how it changed. Kargo doesn't know Ronja like Roamer does.

While I definitely disapprove the way Kargo acts, I...kinda understand him? Roamer was just some days ago his mate, they were pretty close and went through a lot together. After what isn't even two weeks he's not only over him (and the two persons who were more important than his family), but was also very...cold towards him "take care" and also had already sex and is into another male...I would feel betrayed too. Beside that, Rogio betrayed them before, and now, in a way, he did the same thing again. Kargo already has trust issues and just imagine, he did basically the same thing again, ditched his friends and this time, even took away Kargos lover. Ofc there's more to that, but Kargo is more black and white, so for him, Rogio did the worst thing...twice. And Roamer, the very male he finally could trust beside Ferah, did the same thing...after one fight (and let's be real here, before Roamer didn't show true care about Ronja anyway, so why should the two dogs who never had a family?) he not only split with him, he seemly forgot about anything and seemly never truly cared about Kargo, which makes him not...completely a good person. Which is stupid too, dear Roamer...you were completely obsessed with Kargo, seeking his attention (I can point out some pages where seemly HE took initiative and not Kargo), so saying that is pretty cold and wrong, too... Also...Idk about you guys but I feel, neither Roamer or Rogio should jump into a new relationship right now. There's an unspoken rule to not date your friends ex and I find it strange Rogio never consider that/felt guilty about that, but also claiming he's a good friend...a good friend would feel shitty about it, I def. would, since back then Roamer Kargo were just one week apart...a friend shouldnt do something like that...or at least should feel incredible guilty. At least Roamer had the mind to refuse afterwards. I think Roamer should focus on Ronja and his new tribe now and so should Rogio, without them being mates, it would just be rushed once again and if Roamer truly learned something from his relationship with Kargo, he should remain single for some chapters and instead focus on Ronja and her kids, cause she needs him way more then Rogio, who also have to focus on himself, instead of once again thinking he needs a mate to be happy. Because in a way, that is how he cames off for me...seeking for attention in Rhovanion, in Roamer...to be happy. But the only person right now he needs to be happy is just he himself. This lection he should learn...

People aren't angry because he's upset, it's because he's begun to lie and be manipulative, proving his relationship with Roamer to be very unhealthy. Tbh, we all knew that Kargo wouldn't handle this calmly, but we never expected him to go this far...

Don't get me wrong.. I don't like the way Kargo is acting but I can still understand him. He's just acting like a jerk because he's upset. And no, I'm not excusing his behavior. I hate when people can't just talk rationally. I was really hoping Kargo would do that and try to talk this out with Roamer.. It's what I expected honestly. This whole situation makes me very sad. Especially since Kargo is my favorite character. I know he's not so mean on the inside. I loved KargoxRoamer.. and I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't like Roamer with Rogio..

Also as a followup I can predict seeing a lapse in Ranach, in the future if he were to see Rogio who I do believe he thinks of as dead. This may be used against him and potentially result in Ranach's death. ... Probably by Ronja. Because she SAID she would and I have no reason to think she won't.

Wellp. Not only is Kargo being salty asf after a breakup (which happens a lot let's be real lmao don't pretend it doesn't) but he doesn't realize what he's actually doing by saying those things- or he does and he doesn't care about Roamer's happiness, which I don't doubt one bit at this point. I'm sure Roamer will be happy with Rogio far more than he was with Kargo. Also second panel: He knows Rogio risked his life to save both him and Ferah and doesn't want to accept/admit it because at the moment it does not benefit him and/or what he's trying to achieve. Manipulative prick, indeed. Roamer, just walk away bb.

Agreed. Honestly, Kargo’s smirk, condescending tone, and manipulative words really remind me of Ranach... not that I think he’ll go as far as he did, but still, it’s clear that Kargo is starting down a dark path. It’s scary, and also disgusting, how he is acting. This just confirms what I have always believed, that Kargo isn’t good for Roamer. Rogio would never treat him like this.

Look at that smirk. He's trying to place himself above Roamer, and being rather manipulative. Roamer needs to walk away, Kargo will not see reason and continue to undermine Roamer's choice. I can see why hes doing it, but it doesn't excuse it, abuse or not.

I am still worried about what Kargo said regarding Ranach - do I think that Rogio used Roamer to get back to him? NOPE. Do I think that if Rogio SEES Ranach that there will be internal conflict? Yes... Being mentally bound to someone does long lasting damage - and I am very worried we will see that in this chapter, since we all know Ranach has nasty plans for the tribe. Stockholm syndrome keeps coming to my mind, since Rogio WAS nursed back to health by him.

First of all, Kargo is being very manipulative here. Second of all, Rogio didn't join roamer to get BACK to the north. He joined because he knew what the tribe there was like and couldn't expect if they would be feral still. So, he joined Roamer to make sure he was SAFE when he got there. Not only that but, uh, hello, ghouls? Other possible murderous tribes? Murderous loners? The only reason they're joining the MT is because Ronja is there going through pregnancy and the mt is now a better place. I'm sure anyone would understand why Rogio was a coward the first time. He was raised in a place where abuse, torture, rape, and suffering was the only way to live, so I'D be a coward as well when the first chance of escape popped up. AND FOR GOOD REASON!! THERE WERE MANY DOGS KILLED THAT NIGHT. While Kargo only killed a few, Ranach's father killed the rest and put the blame on Ferah and Kargo, hence the reason why Ranach wanted them dead in the first place. To "clean up the aftermath." Roamer needs to see past this manipulative shield of bullshit lies and get the heck out of there. Kargo was never one of my pure favorite characters to begin with so him not changing and continuing to be one of my least favorites continues to stand and doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

Oh my god... I just... I can’t even... I have no words. Well okay, that’s not entirely true. There’s so much I *want* to say about this, but I know it would just turn into a very lengthy rant rather than a good, productive comment, so I won’t bother. Others have already said pretty much everything I would’ve said, myself, anyway. I will say though, that at this point, I am so done with Kargo. I don’t even care anymore that he’s a victim of abuse; I don’t think that excuses the way he’s acting now, and he has just went way too damn far, with his comments about Rogio. I can only hope that Roamer doesn’t actually listen to his bullshit. Ugh.

Kique, I truly admire your skill to write such dialogues. I often find myself struggling with what to say when two of my characters meet or discuss. Your character development is great. Thanks for sharing such wonderful created drama. :-)

Roamer makes a great point about nobody being perfect but them at least learning from mistakes and trying to be better. Kargo keeps doing the same shit over and over again and he never thinks maybe HE'S the one who's wrong. He just desperately shifts the blame onto Roamer, Ronja, Rogio. It makes me wonder if a person like that can ever be happy or if they can ever be in a healthy realtionship with someone. Ferah has been the only one who can deal with him so far lol. Blaming Rogio for his betrayal during the first rebellion is such a low blow; Rogio redeemed himself and he almost got himself killed just to save Ferah and Kargo, not mentioning the lack of sleep and his nightmares after that. I believe Rogio's intentions were sincere and he doesn't want to get back with Ranach. Why would he? Ranach fucking left him to the night beasts to eat him alive. Kargo saw that. How can he think that Rogio is still in love with Ranach after that? It's pretty manipulative, just to make Roamer doubt Rogio's intentions and come back to him instead. I love this page, so much tasty drama :^) On an unrelated note, I hope Roamer actually talks to Fjordor as well. He deserves to know that the two of his new tribe members are leaving for good.

It's especially disgusting when we know that Rogio didnt even wanted to go back in the North and ONLY did to make sure Roamer was safe because he accepted that Roamer's desires were to reunite with Ronja. Rogio was scared to death to come in face of Ranach. He was scared to death of a damn hut. Hope to go back in bed with him? More lire fear to face the one who crushed his souls in pieces, only to make sure Roamer was safe during the travel. It's just... ugh, I really dislike Kargo at the moment, and I seriously hope Roamer will be intelligent enough to realise what he says is manipulative bullshit :/

To me... Kargo is talking like wind. He tries to twist and bend reality to fit his delusions of wanting to believe everyone is evil. Also, Roamer was the one to "force" Rogio to get back in the MT, so another shit Kargo is saying that makes no sense. Kargo assumes everything and try to twist it at his own sauce. If a dog act ONCE a little bad towards him, it's an evil dog ( ref to Ronja there ). It's like.. pure Drama queen. HE destroyed everything himself, and try to blame/twist reality to justify himself and "keep" Roamer. That's... the basics of an abusive psychological relationship. "Create the doubts in the mind so the other will destroy everything himself and then come back". It's like.... disgusting. Outright.

But Kargo is handling this situation surprisingly calm. Yet very manipulative (damn Kargo, that's just low). A part of me expected this situation to escalate after the last page. It does in a way. But different than expected.

As dramatic as this page is, I'm starting to hope that it will have a peaceful outcome. If Roamer listens a little more to Kargo and he explains that he decided to join because he didn't want to leave a pregnant Ronja without family. I feel as Kargo may understand and get the closure he needs without being angry.

I guess that in the end Kargo doesn't have problems with Ronja. It's Rogio. Did it carve such a mark on his soul that on the first rebellion Rogio stayed with Ranach instead?
