I'm not sure how I didn't notice the little bird on Aira's haunches but it's adorable.

Yup, you can totally understand where the Jarl comes from with the MT as the closest Tribe. Also what they need for survival. A very much great Jarl. But, with this said, I can't help but feel sorry for Aira. I so hope she can find out what she can do, so they at least can stay. At least is seems the Jarl is considering to try them if they can stay. Let's see what happens. ^^

I always wondering, if Keirr will ever find out that Ronja is in the MT.

Agent DD2950

I actually understand his caution. With the Meteor Tribe as their only rivals being so close, he has his own Tribe to protect and they are few in numbers.

I can see why he's angry. Keirr just pulled the victim card as in "Don't look at us like that. The only reason why we're being 'rude' is because we're tired, we traveled a long way to reach you, we're hungry, blah blah" and I knew he wouldn't like that. He's being cautious about these two because, like he said, the meteors are the closest rivals to them. I'm guessing the guild, when they visited the MT, came from this tribe and went to them. Aira was out of line but she quickly learned her place. He's being hard for a reason. The emotions they went through in this moment, arrogance and timidity, are the EXACT emotions that will get you killed very quickly in this world. Look what happened to Ranach when he got arrogant with his position. Now his closest neighbors are no longer the meteors, but the ghouls that keep him company at night. It seems like ghoul is not only the term for night beasts around Midnightgarde, but the northern region too. It's nice to see Keirr straighten up as he asserted his dominance and bared fangs to him. He looks like a leader; the way he handled the situation after being corrected suggests that, while he is a good leader naturally, he's still learning, and will need help perfecting it too. If he were a very good leader like his father, he'd excuse Aira and then go on to say that they understood many panels before he actually did. Aira is Aira, she's timid and that emotion is shown in 99% of these panels. Not so much timid, but she's alert too. I wonder what the next page will be like. :] Can't wait for the teaser - I was waiting all day and yesterday for this page haha.

Pretty accurate response tbh. Which spells a lot of trouble for Aira, and that worries me. I'd be pretty aggressive with outsiders as well if my neighbor was the MT. And considering the land is entering spring, it doesn't look like their home is very forgiving in any season. But, it's good to see that Keirr went from nervous and submissive, to standing tall. Especially since it seems that that's what Fraujar wants out of them.

Farvardin

I get where he's coming from, especially with Meteor being so close... but... yikes.
