I don't mean to bolt on your theory, but Ronja does not care for Ranch anymore. If she does try to resurrect Zilas, the evil spirit will ask her for an exchange for something that she cares most about, which can be her entire family or her unborn pups.

2017-11-23 12:10:32 +0000 UTCOn the info chart, explains about spirits and the stones. If my theory is correct, Ronja could be creating either a tombstone or a shrine to honor her friend Zilas. She even spending most of her time by praying while also constructing and maintaining the stone/shrine. Ronja may think she is doing a normal burial ceremony, but in Aedra, spirits come in all shapes, and sizes, which means there is more to this scene than meets the eye.

You know what, I believe she had a lot of free moments by wonder around the forest she must have stumbled into this conceal cave due to Ranch's disappearance. That is my theory right there.
