Oh no, poor Argeirr. He doesn’t understand why his sister has to leave. :( I wonder if he even understands that Rohgir lied/twisted the truth about the Akiulfr origin, and what happened on Earth... probably not. If he did, I imagine he would probably hold some resentment toward his brother too, especially if he learned that he banished Jahla for (more or less) not accepting the lie. But, as we know, Argeirr is simple-minded... these larger concepts of lying and betrayal are likely foreign to him. Honestly, I doubt he would understand it all even if they did explain it to him. He’s so innocent, still like a puppy, despite being an adult now. I hope he doesn’t try to follow his sister through the gateway... if his innocent, gentle nature made him unsuited to survive on Earth, then he probably wouldn’t stand a chance on Aedra; not without a large family group to watch over him, that is. And since the rest of the Akiulfr are remaining on that island (at least for now, I have no doubt that there will be a rebellion, eventually, especially with the loss of their Baron and Priest, likely the only one that was keeping them sane; it’s only a matter of time), then it’s definitely best that Argeirr stay there with them. The way I see it, Jahla and Thakir are gonna have a hard enough time relying on *each other* for survival, let alone have to look after Argeirr, too. Sure, there’s a chance that they might be accepted into one of the local tribes (Ravencrest, is what I’m thinking of, as it seems to be the closest one nearby, and is most likely where the howl that answered Jahla came from), but this will probably take some time. If Argeirr does follow his sister, it can only end in disaster, I’m sure of it.

Argeirr's puppy eyes, oh my god ;-; But I'm glad he and Jahla could say goodbye. ...did his fangs also become longer? It looks like they now reached the length Aki fangs used to have. Also I wonder if Jahla and Thakir will eventually find Keirr or Ronja and Roamer, assuming they'll port back to where Jahla came from. Rhov would be best but he's so far away.

Did we ever get an answer as to what was up with Argeirr? I remember it being mentioned way back that he (and Finn from Asmundr) were "different" somehow but i could never figure it out past the whole innocence thing. Is that why his fangs are so small or is that just a genetics thing?

He could've but he's the Tribe Healer. And also keep in mind that he can't hunt or defend himself either.

Hopefully Argeirr doesn't follow and get killed by a night beast. I don't think the glow on their heads is 100% affective :(

Argeirr; That sweet cinni roll pupper - he's such a good boi. I won't lie my heart sank seeing his sad face in panels 4 and 8 - And panel 9 just made me wanna cry. I feel bad for him. Man Jahla left with a quickness - And now poor Argeirr has no idea why; That's the part that upsets me, I'd hate to think Roghir filling his head with lies about why she left - Ugh - I kinda want him to follow her, but at the same time don't. Ugh!!! The feels - This page got me right in the feels. I hope I'm not the only one who wants to give Argeirr hugs and pets now. (I mean, I wanted to way before, but I want to more now, bless him).

Something tells me even if she wanted to, she wouldn't be able to bring herself to talk ill of Rohgir to Argeirr because Argeirr depends on him so much still. If she were to shatter that and then leave, who knows what would happen... As much as it pains me, it might be better for him to hear a twisted truth from Rohgir so that he doesn't make some mistake and run off into a world he doesn't know. There's still a high chance of him doing so, but I think this lessens it. Thakir at least can defend himself, Jahla can't try to take care of Argeirr as well, this is going to be a difficult enough journey with a lower chance of survival as is.
