It's Ninmah not the ground, she leaves a glow behind as she steps that later fades.

Kique Nordin

I noticed when Ninmah walks her paws lights up from the growned, but why does it not do the same for Jahla when she is walking behind the Matriarch?

VonTriggers

Be funny if the ship was Khellirs, and he did something questionable, so after his ship had to be abandoned (maybe a crash?) instead of picking him up the sky gods turned him into a dog to make him learn from them, and he's just been wandering around and managed to find the place the Asmundr pack was taken to, lol.

JackalHackal

But the question is, why did you ask about Ran? D: Wonder how Ninmah knows him owo

Skittles

I assume so. Liulfrs cannot survive without drawing energy from another. Remember when we first met Ranulfr? He was literally as grey as a stone until he met Lifa. I'm not sure how long they can survive without that energy, but I assume its only a few years at most.

Spiritstrike

Because she shares the energy with the ship, she cannot stray far from it?

That bubble is connected to the above one, so I didn't add an arrow since the arrow is in the first bubble

Kique Nordin

Small thing Kique, the last bubble in the fifth panel doesn't have a pointer/arrow like the other two attached to it. A small thing like I said, but it took me a second to realize who was speaking. :3

FaintSilhouette

Now she just needs to see Rhov

Yes, Asmundr was based on the norse mythology/culture but the actual gods have a sumerian origin (:

Kique Nordin

It's the same species, Neperdur is just the sumerian name of it (:

Kique Nordin

Ninmah is so pretty <3 I'm in love with her design, a white beauty :3 I'm curious about the Liulfrs/Neperdurs origin, where did they live first, how they ended with the green aliens and how they got the red eye disease, etc °^°

Kitty

I’m confused... Liukfr and Neperdur, is it the same breed? If not, what’s the difference?

Slmuran

I love that Father's name and Ninmah are named after Mesopotamian Gods. Utu was their Sun god and Ninmah is the Mother Goddess. Makes a lot of sense. :)

Since you've mentioned Asmundr was kinda based /inspired by/on Norse Mythology, does it (taking the names mentioned in here) mean that Home is inspired/based on Sumerian Mythology?? Or is your stories inspired by multiple mythologies sorry to ask this on a page and not on the Q&A but yeah, I would just really love to know??? It's inspiring soqwq

WolfieYote

AHH KIQUE THIS IS GORGEOUS I love this qnq. Utu the god of the sun qwq ahhh i wish we could see his face tho qnq sometime haaaaah.

Remember how Axi said how she's thinking the Matriarch is beautiful? She surely is, stunning as it seems. Many informations, huh? Seems like Khellir and he really could be rivals of some sorts (or, like I thought, maybe truly siblings) and even his name sounds like he's a chosen child. His name however is nice and fits him very well, considering Jahla was talking with "a star" when she was young and a sun is a star, basically. Now I do wonder if Jahla is some sort of special. You know, would be ironically since she don't want to be, but she was the first one to hear fathers word and I always wanted her to be special in some way. As special as Kainan was, in a way, just differently. So it seems that either our Matriarch isn't born in Aedra, but another continent or she isn't native to the planet after all, since she was talking about her arrival...hum. And so the whole thing is a former ship, same goes for the Akiulfr- temple then, I guess? Fascinating. I really want her to be Ranulfrs mother and hope, she'll tell Jahla just that. Jahla had a very unstable mother when she was younger and now she could have a relative/mentor who's as close to the gods as she is, but with more knowledge and wisdom to help her grow. Hopefully this two become close and Jahla is save there now. Really hoping for some sort of mother daughter relationship that could develop between these two ^^

Kuni

Dude! I want the 7th panel as a wallpaper now! It's so gorgeous!

Spiritstrike

Also I'm suddenly curious about what might have happened to True Wolves, if they ever existed in this story.

Corvin

Any sufficiently advanced technology would be indistinguishable from magic. Teal'c puts it simply: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rHrMCCPUik (minus the dead part).

Corvin

My gosh! Ninmah and Utu, names! Learning stuff! Jahla looks so overwhelmed with emotions at hearing Father's real name. And Neperdur? What a lovely name for the species.

Spiritstrike

Hehe, Utu means "hazy" or "mist" in Finnish. What a nice name he has!

Waikku

NAMES! We know the names! And Neperdur huh? That's an interesting name for the breed! no "ulfr" in it, but still means wolf. ^^

Also, no wonder father (by Khel's words) was "always the chosen one" - HES THE FUCKIN' GOD OF THE SUN. It's kind of... a given that he's the "lucky one" or "the one who receives the most attention" so to speak. Then again, he could be referring to this in that sense, so... I DONT KNOW. I'm just still iffy about what he said I'm trying to logic it out in my own way... :P That also makes sense since the name "Utu" means Sun in Sumerian. Ninmah also is a Sumerian goddess... she's the goddess of fertility and the "guardian" sotospeak, of several leaders... A quick google search, just because I like looking to see if the internet has anything to offer for it. ^^ Interesting events thus far...

Vizeryn

She's so beautiful! And together with what we learn in this page...wow! So Utu it is. I wonder if this is also a "dog friendly" version of his real name like Khellir's is. ...if I remember it right. Could also be that he was just talking about his dog form. Please correct me if I'm wrong x)

Yami

😍

Michelle Koenders

Let's take a moment to truly appreciate Ninmah's beauty.. she is simply gorgeous. <3
