Honestly, Thakir's suggestion is a good one. It's better than wandering around aimlessly without a goal in mind. But now that Flamegarde has found them, that remains to be seen on whether they'll let them go or not.

I agree with u I’d be expecting them to miss each other or mentioning each other but that hasn’t occurred at all not even showing any emotion of that. It’s hard to say they are even mates at all

I’m loving the African Wild Dog theme to these guys. Their pelts and paint are beautiful, Kique! It seems as though their earrings indicate their ranks! I can’t wait to see more of them. I love it when more tribes and characters are revealed, it’s one of my favorite things in this comic.

It was Thakir's idea to see who the howler is, Jahla is only saying how she wish she could have replied back because she feels bad for leaving someone in the same possible situation as her. And going by Thakir's idea, it could be better than to just aimlessly walk around.

Im a little confused here we still dont see her actually mentioning her own mate but a random howl is stuck on her mind? If she truly felt all that alone I feel like shed put in more effort to find her family and mate. In a unknown world the last thing I would do is go after a random howl that could easily belong to a dangerous creature or stranger.
