I think you might have confused a ghoul with a spirit ^^ Jonna will turn into a ghoul (most likely) as it was referred a while back and from what we currently know, there is no actual way to kill them (though probably is). Avanti on the other hand is a spirit and once her or most of the others (probably) have their shrines burned or destroyed in some matter, they will "die" for the time being. So I'm thinking you're confusing ghouls with spirits so hope that does clarify things, if I didn't misinterpret that ^^

He's gotta pay in blood. I don't know if he does it each time he build's her shrine, but payment in blood is required for summoning her.

Jonna was not the character I liked most in the beginning but she really grew on me.. (like good characters should) now she’s gone and when Ranach dismisses her life like that it really hurts. Although it’s sort of ironic that the former oh so powerful jarl had to bring forth a cursed beast two times just to kill ‘some barren’. Ulfr is stuck in some old ways as Fúss put it and he is loyal to a fault but he is not stupid when it comes to planning and he is kind of brave to question someone he knows as ranked above him. Ranach have used and abused Ulfr before and the last panel indicates that more of the same may come. If Ranach dies and Ulfr lives I wonder what will become of him, MT would most likely not have him back and he would have a hard time fitting in, in most other tribes. Also, glad to see that Fúss is hanging in there. When they all return to camp everyone will be shaken and there is no doubt that Rogio will blame himself for this, saying that if he went out to meet Ranach none of this would have happened.

Shit, imagine what Avanti will do to Ranch when he finds out that Rogio is still alive. What if she feels his feelings/desire for Rogio and she flips cause he's "unfaithful" to her 😱 There has to be a catch to summoning her as she will do everything she can to make her lover happy.

Question, does Ranach pay a price for summoning Avanti? it is dark magic after all and if it were that easy to get an overpowered warrior the MT would have used it much sooner to attack other tribes.

If Fuss makes it to the camp, he surely should be good. And he’s determined to make it) I’m sure that Ranach will have his reckoning, dunno when and how. And I’m almost sure that Avanti will be involved. No choice comes without consequences. And Ulfr... I think you should run. Like... now.

im curious if Ulfr will see that this “barren” was Jonna since the two had a disliking for eachother. its probably not a big deal for him to see it was her, but im curious as to if he would be like “thats what you deserve” or possibly feel a little bad.. i know he said he could kill her but its one thing to say than to actually do and to see her ripped up like she was is pretty disturbing

I have a bad feeling Ranach is about to snap. He's always been the guy we've loved to hate, but now there's mostly just plain hate towards him. Hopefully he'll get what he deserves soon, with interest

I think Ranach will get his comeuppance when he finds out Rogio is alive, and bails on being Avanti's "lover." And with his "Avanti is learning" comment, I can't help but wonder if he's about to "teach" her something on Ulfr. If Ulfr annoys him enough, we've seen that he's abandoned old obsessions when someone offends him personally. Also, "just some barren" - go to hell Ranach. Love these pages Kique!!

Like everyone else here, I, too, am so done with Ranach's BS. As much as I dislike Ulfr, I'm glad to see he's getting fed up with Ranach's BS. I hope he defects, but with Avanti soon to be roaming the woods again, Ranach would likely command her to kill him. If Ranach can command her who to kill, that is. I'm also under the impression summoning Avanti so many times is going to backfire on him, and backfire big time. Because as we know, there's always a price you have to pay when making deals with the spirits of Aedra. If you make a deal with Eigfeigr to bring someone back to life, to have to offer up the life of someone who matters to you in return. You can pray to Sterkr for strength and gain it, but the price is being turned into a monster. So it only makes sense to me that there's a price to be paid for summoning cursed beasts like Avantifegr as well. Which is why I really hope that's true, and that this backfires on Ranach big time.

I'm ready for him to be killed/captured/have Avanti take care of him. There has to be a consequence for abusing a spirit right? I've never wanted to strangle him more than now XD It seems unfair to just be resummoning her. Has he got a pile of shrines ready to be completed? Gods need to permaban him for griefing the server

I am so done with Ranach's BS you guys - I really truly am. Like someone else has mentioned; and this seems to have a good point to it, and I'm wondering this too....If summoning her so many times in such a short amount of time will have any form of consequence. I mean, in a sense of misuse or abuse towards said spirit/beast. You know? Like no one wants to be used - and I'm sure even though Avanti is a cured beast she wouldn't want to be either - if not more so, due to how she was treated prior to being cursed. Know what I mean? I dunno I just know, that this has got to have some form of repercussions to it. Like when summoning other spirits - they take something as form of payment - so maybe summoning Avanti does too - or something?? I just hope this backfired on him sooner rather than later. Since everything else this boi has done has ultimately blew up in his face - This shouldn't be any different. He's so selfish. And honestly I agree with Ulfr here - there's really no need to be doing this - I hope Ulfr gets enough (Which by the looks of things he's looking to be getting fed up with Ranach's BS too) - And just defects from Ranach and anything to do with him. But since Avanti will surely be roaming the woods again, he's kinda got no choice but to stay put unless Ranach is able to tell Avanti who to kill and who not to...but then again - would Ranach really care that much for Ulfr? I doubt it. Since, he really only cares about himself. XD Anyway - I'm glad to see Fuss still hanging in there, if only barely - I hope they can treat his wounds and he'll be okay. He's a great guy and the tribe would suffer a massive blow if he were to die. I mean really, he's pretty vital to them at this point. And I don't want Vandi to loose him, nor their pup (I can't recall how to spell her name) - I mean, she deserves to have a positive male figure in her life; Her dad especially. I'm glad to see Vigr also playing a decent role in all this too; he's being quite a stand up guy there past few pages. I'm hoping it continues - I really like Vigr. Shoot Vigr for Jarl maybe? XD (JK - maybe...I dunno...) LOL! I'm just glad he's got a new found respect for his leader - and will be of good help to her from here on out. :)

I never thought I'd say this but I agree with Ulfr. Theoretically... I mean old MT 2.0 doesn't seem promising but at least the new MT would get some needed peace. Also seeing him with Ranach makes me wonder if Ranach can control Ávanti and let her know who to kill and who not. Or if Ulfr has to stick close to him so he won't end up dead. As for Fúss, you stay alive, you awesome heroic floof, you! ;-;

Ranach's about to slap the shit outta Ulfr. "Hm!" seems like something he'd say before losing his shit or making some snarky comment. And I'm so grateful to see Fúss even standing right now, oh my god I thought he was done for. 4 years old is too young to lose his life, especially with a mate and daughter. Now I'm curious. Will summoning Avanti several times have some possible consequences? I wouldn't be surprised as summoning a spirit seems to always have a price and overusing it might just do that. And I wonder if Avanti herself will start to change....? It could be either her strength, desire to kill, individuality? It could either begin to weaken/cloud her or make her uncontrollable. Since she's being summoned several times at this point 🤔
