There's still a possibility that he survived it, as he's still not among deceased characters o_o Maybe he'll return to MT and admit that it's better to be with Ronja than Ranach xD

I'm sorry but he's done nasty things yes, but unlike Ranach - I had hope he'd be one of those who would possibly come around. I wanted - WANTED - Ulfr to find redemption I really really did. Because some people, regardless of all the awful things they've done in the past, have been known to make a complete turnaround. Its possible. I wanted to see it. I wanted him to return to the MT and become a worthwhile individual and grow as a character - Alas, it is more than likely not happening thanks to the superjerk we all know and hate - RANACH. He's a pure poopface and he disgusts me to no end. I've never had so much dislike for a character in my life XD Like - This just proves the quality of writing and the skill level of KIque - Dude, I applaud you on a massive scale. You're talent is legendary. You're really good at writing characters - To have a character make such an impact on all of us, as they've done with Ranach - I'm blown away. I felt a small pinch of pity for Ulfr - I won't lie about it. Even though he did bad things - One of which includes having a hand in murdering in cold blood my favourite character - But for some reason I just couldn't get myself to even remotely dislike Ulfr. I just don't get it. I also feel bad for Avanti in a sense cuz she's doing this out of blindness. She's not realizing what the situation is, and whom it is controlling/Summoning her. Ugh its just disgusting! Ranach I hope you get what's coming to you XC But I know that won't be for a while. *Sigh*

2018-10-08 03:24:37 +0000 UTCI get the feeling that her curse is to be summoned by a 'lover' that she knows is only doing lip service - to know he doesn't really love her, but to be controlled by the words all the same. Hence the rage and willingness to kill - imagine the frustration and anguish that must cause her every time.

2018-10-08 02:04:12 +0000 UTCI had a feeling Ulfr was living on borrowed time as of the last page, and it turns out I was right. Can't say I feel too sorry for him, given that he enjoyed being a rapist, and was one of the MT dogs who murdered Zilas. Still, I could FEEL his terror, as he tried to desperately outrun Avanti. And I feel bad for Avanti, given that Ranach is simply using her as a pawn in his plan. I have to wonder how the MT is going to carry out their plan to defeat Ranach because of this. The plan to use Rogio's scent to lure in Ranach is a good one, but the danger Avanti presents throws a serious wrench into that plan, especially after we've seen more of what she's capable of. She's both incredibly fast AND incredibly strong. And with the numbers the MT has, I don't think combining their strength and taking her down will be enough. It might work with much larger numbers, but we've seen how quickly she can kill, and how she can split the group up without them noticing. Combined with the fact that Ranach can re-summon her every time the shrine is re-built, that just sounds like a recipe for the rest of the MT getting picked off one by one. Given that Fuss knows the story of Avantifegr (but not the summoning words)... I think the only way for the MT to truly defeat Avanti is to break her curse. After all, it only makes sense that there's a way to break her curse. Though what that might be, I don't know. As for Ranach... I have a feeling this is really gonna backfire on him big time. I'm also even more convinced than I was before that Ranach is beyond redemption at this point. In order for him to truly redeem himself, he'd have to feel true remorse and regret for all the terrible things he's done. And at this point, I can't see how Ranach would ever begin to feel any sort of regret for what he's done, or genuine desire to change. If he did, whatever caused that change would have to be something huge. For now, all I can say is that I hope Ranach gets what's coming to him.

I'm really glad Ulfr was able to throw Ranach off, and I'm also really glad that he is finally gone. But I'm with Kuni, I feel really bad for Avanti. She has no control over this, being used and abused. I can't hate her for killing innocent dogs (which so far is only Jonna out of this group, but who knows how many others were killed on command in the past) all because she believes this scum loves her. You're doing really well with the story Kique, I wait anxiously for every new page to come out. Keep up the good work <3

2018-10-07 02:05:43 +0000 UTCThis page is really, really good. The atmosphere is amazing, you totally can feel the chill in Ulfrs neck. Together with the music, you literally feel the panic he has to endure during his last minutes. I wonder if Ranach would have killed him as well if Ulfr would have stayed put, but I guess the answer is yes, can't have a "traitor" running around. I didn't connect with Ulfr (as he still is a rapist, bad ending or not, he was fine with it) and I do think it's karma, biting him in his ass. But I do feel sorry for Avanti, just used as a tool to Ranach. Guess at some point it will really come back to him, all the awful things he has done to others. But great page anyway, keep the good work up. I'm really glad we got other things than Roamer and Rogio and I really enjoyed the rest of the chapter, be it the Jahla arc or the whole Avanti story.
