Poll #1: MC pictures with Laura

One of the most common feedback on the game is that people would enjoy seeing pictures of the Main Character with Laura, most notably in sex scenes.
Currently, I deliberately avoided that in order for the MC to be as faceless as possible, in order to allow everyone to identify with him. As soon as he get pictured, that goes out of the window.
But I wanted to ask for your opinion, so let's vote!
Note: polls are meant to gauge your opinion, but their results may not end in the game. I keep the right to decide by myself in the end. ;)

I would suggest just to make the MC the standard anime plain main character and never show his face and if the hair it is shown, make him a black hair standard anime character. It could be usefull to show the MC specially if one of the routes goes to a femdom path, for footjob fetish, penis comparation with bull and chastity. In all those options it would only show the lower body parts.

2024-06-21 08:41:09 +0000 UTCImo it not strictly necessary to have MC pictures with Laura because he can see her "irl", so you can just keep it low profile, also don't think much about it, you can keep your idea without explaining much to the player (or explain this progression by jealousy).

2024-06-08 23:55:23 +0000 UTCI don't think it's necessary to have pictures of Laura sleeping with the MC. The story itself can portray that through their discussion of how Laura got reclaimed for example. I wouldn't mind the explicit pictures being about Laura's netorase adventures.

2024-06-08 18:01:01 +0000 UTCFrom your comments, I believe you have the right idea about how you want to progress the game. Personally, I'd rather keep the MC hidden. For example if you want to include a picture of Laura and MC together, you could have those couple pictures where you only see the MC holding Laura's hand as she is walking in from of him. This keeps the game as immersive as possible.

While I could understand MC and Laura having pictures together, I think it would still be somewhat immersion breaking to have all the other pictures uncensored. If you do go the way of blurred face, please don’t do the protag-Kun bullshit all the JRPG’s do Ultimately, the game is about Laura’s and MC’s journey of kink exploration involving other people and the format of the game itself wasn’t really designed as a focus on MC/Laura sex scenes. Only exception might involve a 3-way MC has with Laura’s friends.

For example if it happened in the early game, maybe she'd be clothed or in her underwear giving head to the MC not unlike how she's been portrayed giving head in the bar or with Nathan. As she gets closer and pushes things further, maybe you could show pictures of her in a similar state with the MC. Ultimately it's your game and if you think it's too much work or threatens too much of the story you want to tell, then I doubt people would be too upset if you ditched the idea entirely.

Already ample games with a visible protagonist and honestly, at times I find it degrading in terms of 'story immersion' because you need to be 'on point' in matching MC's facial expressions to the situation at hand without exaggerating.

2024-06-08 10:09:00 +0000 UTCAlso, another issue that I have with that is that I'm deliberately escalating Laura's nakedness through the game. The very first time you see her fully naked is when she sleeps with Nathan, and only then do you unlock fully naked interludes. But it would make it harder to keep doing so if I show the MC sleeping with her.

Some people feel that the MC is too "invisible" in the current game, and that showing pictures of him with Laura could improve the way their relationship is shown, and how positive it is, which is something I value.

I wouldnt let yourslef be pressured to change the direction of YOUR game to placate people who arent into the concept to begin with. I binged the whole game as soon as I found it I really love everything you're doing and Im sure others do too!
