Felidae is only low because I know nothing about her and can't yet form an opinion. I like her design, though. I still like Kargo because I can't wait to see how he develops. It's hard for me to have more than a few favorite characters because I generally get excited for the ones I haven't seen in awhile, heh.

Felidae to be honest, i love all characters equally, and felidae is still a character in this story that i love, despite being ranked so low. <3 people might be confused why i put ranach on top - its because of how his character is actually written. in so many stories/movies/etc, the bad guys are SO incredibly basic, SO incredibly cliche, and usually do what they do JUST BECAUSE THEY CAN. with ranach, he has a mental disorder (maybe even a few), and the way he does things are quite cowardly, but very smartly (i.e using Avanti to kill everyone instead of himself, knowing that he's too weak to do it on his own). he's brilliantly written, and a lot of times, you can FEEL his emotions - and why they come, despite them being incredibly bad, and causing him to do even worse things. i still hate him for what he's done, but again, its the way his character is written - hes the best bad guy ive ever seen written/drawn out before. he's very charismatic in a way, and i can see why now! He's only ranked so high because of that reason, Rogio is still my favorite. :)

Alright, so this is as of the end of Chapter nine, since I haven't started reading Chapter 10 (which seems to be influencing a lot of opinions of characters with just the first few pages, so...) here it is: 1. Jahla 2. Rhovanion 3. Kierr 4. Ferah 5. Aira 6. Felidae 7. Kargo 8. Rogio 9. Ronja 10. Roamer 11. Ranach I feel that Jahla, Rhovanion, and Keirr are the ones that though they encounter obstacles want to see more and grow more and find their path through these confusing situations that they've been left to deal with. I think that I relate to them most with their questioning nature and venture of travels.💙 Aira is on a redemptive path with Keirr's guidance and strength. Felidae is very cool from what I've seen and she gives me a similar sense of Aira. I've greatly disliked Ronja from the beginning though she's slowly (very slowly) growing on me with the way she leads, but we'll see. Kargo I've felt for for a while because he lost his brother from problems stemming from the MT (things that even Ferah is still scarred from) and he hasn't been given the care through kindness that he's needed. Rogio I view similarly. Though he's got different trauma, he is growing and I'm excited for him, though the thing I don't like is that I feel that he took advantage of the fresh (literally half a day) break-up that Roamer had just made with Kargo, so I'm a bit bitter about that, but I still like Rogio! Roamer I blame for all of the bad things that have happened as far as character's emotions and being very self-righteous. I don't feel like he forgives anyone anything and feel like he needs to realize that he's been a dick too... But for some reason I still like his essential self, which is why I put him above Ranach.

1. Jahla- she's got the most interesting plot line because it seems like it's actually going somewhere as opposed to her simply sitting and talking like most of the other dogs, plus her stubborn and feisty personality mixed with her growing disillusionment with father is really interesting. 2. Ferah- she has a lot of potential to be a strong character, and her warm, playful personality coupled with her backstory and occasional moments of fierceness is really cool. She seems a bit too understanding at times though, which can prevent interesting conflict from happening (Roamer leaving for the MT) 3. Aira- again, a character with a lot of potential. Her backstory is incredible, and if the time is taken to fully explore her leftover trauma and guilt she could easily become one of the most complex characters. Unfortunately, despite being an adult who lived as a monster for years, she is kind of being treated like a damsel in distress. But by giving her more agency, she could be really cool 4. Kargo- started out as a prickly, aggressive, closed off character with a hidden playful side, but has unfortunately morphed into a one note angry op character. Again, he has a cool backstory (maybe explore how he resisted the MT's training?) and if given a little more depth he could easily become a fan favorite. He should probably start by not treating Roamer, a dog he only knew for a few months, as the most important thing in his life. Great potential though 5. Ronja- I really want to like her more, but she's kind of been stripped of her agency since the beginning. This happen to her, instead of her actively doing things. I feel like she should be more upset about being pregnant, because babies born from sexual assault are by definition unwanted. That's not to say she couldn't grow to love them, but some more internal conflict would be really great 6. Keirr- he started out really great with a cool, logical, family oriented personality. That being said, he decides to stay in whispervale instead of going to look for his family because... it's too dangerous to wander around? It seems to me that the Keirr of the beginning of the comic would stop at nothing to find his family, reindeer dogs or not. Also, he doesn't really consult Aira, he just makes decisions for her. But if he got back on track, I feel as though I would like him a lot more 7. Felidae- I don't know enough about her to form a concrete opinion, but from what we've seen she seems like a fun, brash character who I'm excited to see more of 8. Rhovanion- it seems like his personality did a complete 180 from the beginning like his brother. He used to be brash, and stare at females behinds as they walked away. How that turned into a socially awkward male who lies for no diescernsble reason I'm not really sure. He's cute with Jahla at least, so I look forward to their reunion 9. Ranach- he's a literal rapist, who stared out as a promising villain but has devolved to a whiny jerk. I don't really have anything else to say about him 10. Roamer- he's really selfish, even though other characters treat him as a good noble person. It would be nice to see him face consequences for his actions once in a while, instead of others reassuring him that he tried his best, so that's all that really matters. Also, he moved on from Kargo wayyyy to fast considering he lied to johaan about the exact same thing he was angry at Kargo about 11. Rogio- easily the worst, Rogio suffers from the same problem Roamer has (i.e he's always treated as good and right) emotional abuse in a relationship is terrible, and it definitely leads lasting scars on a person. The problem is that this want shown at all. All we saw of Rogio and Ranach was Rogio happily working for a tribe of rapists and not doing anything to help the females just because of his boyfriend. This also made his move to be with Roamer seem kind of creepy, borderline predatory considering Roamer was going through a tough time. Overall, he needs to face consequences for the things he did in the MT, and jonna was on the right path before she died. Rape is not really taken seriously enough in this comic, and glossing over it just makes the story weaker. Overall, this story has a lot of potential, and an easy way to further that is to give the characters more agency (especially the female ones) and real consequences for their actions. I look forward to seeing what happens next!

I love character flaws, I love really BAD decisions, so they wont turn me from a character away). 2. JAHLA (always loved her. Even in Asmundr. She also got a lot of blame from both, readers and characters, and she still is one of my favorites) 3. KARGO AND FERAH (Whatever Kargo did, I do believe he did it in the thought of protection his liufe, which is WAY different then Ranach who ONLY acts for himself. And Ferah is such an amazing character x3) 4. RONJA (I liked her through all her character flaws, so go on! XD) 5. RHOVANION and KEIRR (Rhov was kinda strange and a hypocrite for me, but eh still love him. Keirr we didnt see that much, but I am curious to learn more about him) 6. ROGIO (I do like him! But while the others chars (Roamer, Kargo, partly Ferah, Ronja etc) got their fair blame from both, readers and characters, I have yet to see someone calling Rogio out for his shit/seeing regret from him for how he acted in regard of Kargo/taking his ex and as a supposed sensitive character, I doubt he doesnt care, so I am glad if we got to see some things there, so that he could move up! Too "perfect viewed" from both, readers and characters so far, aka "is not to blame for everything".) 7. RANACH (He is a good written character, but I like to see more about him and his past, maybe some of the good sides Rogio mentioned). 8. AIRA and FELIDAE (I dont have much to say about them, since we didnt see them often/I cant tell a lot about them, so neutral) Glad you take the route to show flaws and even fatal wrong decisions, Kique. Love it!

Ronja started out as one of my least favorites, with being so naive and spiteful to simply go with ranach out of jealousy and not think at all about what that might entail. However, once she snapped at Ranach, and became a good leader, i absolutely began to love and adore her! Jahla, i also had such a relationship with. She lied about Zilas, which i hated, and left Rhov standing somewhere due to an argument about father, who she trusted so very much. But now, she is learning so much more, learning to doubt father a little, to doubt her family a little, including her brother. She took a stand when i wanted her to most, which made me like her a lot more. She has become a lot more mature and considerate. Kargo was one of my favorites at the start, but as time progressed he slowly dropped lower and lower in my favorites list. And then this chapter, oof. Just killing because you cannot deal with emotions, not at all acceptable. Ranach i hated from the beginning and still fo, but i also love to hate him, i dunno, he's a bastard without regrets and as a villain i love him as a character i despise him, if that makes sense? Keirr also became one of my favorites early on, his level headedness, his kindness, i see so much of his father in him. Ferah has been and likely will be one of my favorites for a long time, i cannot explain why, but her character clicked with me, and i love her to bits. Such a gorgeous female too. Rhov, i have come to like more these past chapters, even if he still has some lessons to learn for sure until i can call him one of my absolute favs. Roamer, well, i loved him a lot at first but these past few chapter, i dunno, i kind of disconnected to him a bit, but that might just be me. Rogio, i pitied from the start, and i like his character, he has grown a lot, but i feel i need a nother developement in his character to truly start loving him! The ranach issue just needs to be solved :p Aira and Felidae, i am mostly undecided on, i am looking forward to seeing more of them both!

Kargo Originally Kargo was in my top five, but since last chapter he dropped a bit but then got worse when he killed the bear and then freaked out and killed the tradesmen. Ronja started off at the bottom after she snapped at Roamer and her jealousy spite happened, only for her to vastly shoot up to my top five after she proved her worth by standing up to Ranach in front of the rest of MT. Felidae I'm still uncertain of atm. Ranach is only above Kargo because he's a great villan but is only lost because he thinks Rogio is dead, maybe he might change gradually if he seems Rogio again, I dunno. He almost seems beyond any hope of redemption.
