Super late comment but something came across my mind... What if she's sensing Akjela or Vandi? Considering that Rogio/Ronja is more likely, Fuss did go out with a bang and if anything, it could be likely she would have a grudge against him and maybe sensed his scent? A bit of a wild theory though xD

I was actually thinking that too xD I'm with you on it being very unlikely, but I was thinking how funny it would be (in a sweet justice sense) if it cut to Ronja going into labor, and Avanti getting to her side and helping her.

I really hope those two get their revenge this time around. Ranach, his brother and father did so much to them, to Rogio, to Ronja and yes, even Avanti. I don't really care for Ranach as a character that deserves redemption. I did with Ranulfr, cause we got to see other sides of Ranu too, we saw him desperate, happy, lovely, thoughtful, caring...he was honestly sick, mad and in the end, extremely insane, but he had enough self-reflection to understand that, in both cases when he died we saw...remorse...that he knew what he had done. With Ranach, we NEVER saw ANYTHING that wasn't extremely selfish and self-serving. He never really loved Rogio as a person, just the feeling he gave him. He just used Ronja, a sweet and innocent but also love-sick person who tried to get to know him better, to help him. He helped killing all these poor males and females who tried to escape with Kargo and Ferah into a better life, a life worth living. Ranach and Savas trapped Alva and her friend, preventing her to reach her sister and the pups before dawn, resulting in their death. He is the reason Fuss and Jonna died and yes, while I don't care much for Ulfr as he was a rapist too, he did killed the only person left on Aedra that kinda cared for him, even if it was more out of loyalty. Still, he was ready to stick with him, start a new life and tribe somewhere else. Also he used Avanti, a female who was betrayed from a lover once and bond like a tool, a tool he is using for his sick desires of revenge. Kargo, Ferah and Rogio though have the biggest reason to kill him. Knowing Rogio though, it would be to hard to face him and I get that. All three of them, Ronja, the pups and the whole MT deserves to be free of his shadow and the shadow of his family, especially his father and grandfather. Personally, I think she might reach for either Ronja or Rogio, maybe even feeling both. It really is getting interesting.

It be pretty interesting if Avanti is pissed about there being pups in danger because of what Ranach has done. Might be her line and he crossed it... but it probably isn’t it’s probably because of Rogio his ex love and she is off to take him down. I certainly hope we done lose anyone that’s good that is.

Hang on, a few have mentioned Avanti being a "wolf". The only wolves in this universe are Liulfr and Akiulfr. Ninmah stated a long time ago a wolf was causing trouble and that's why wolves have such low opinions set upon them... HMM...

No, Ferah's mother was a black and white Jaro I'm pretty sure. I think Avanti was originally a shield wolf, but i'm not sure.

Oh! I like this page! There so much intesity in this, so much emotion! But i think what i love most about it, is that we're seeing more of Avanti, and what we're seeing is that she is not unfeeling, not just a being doing Ranach's bidding. We see here, thatshe still has a mind of her own! Where that is taking her right now, well, we're all curious about that i bet! Is she hearing Rogio speak to Vandi and Akleja, or is she, through her connection to Ranach's, blood actually sesnsing Vandi, who is his mother, Akleja, his half sister, and probably even the pups within Ronja. That she ran off on Ranach speaks volumes!

Oh my gosh, I actually have a theory about Avanti. She kinds looks like Ferah, and it's almost as if she freaked out when she saw Ferah. Do you think Avanti could be Ferah's mother?

Wow, in the third panel Avanti looks so... normal. She's not unthinking beast, it looks that she has own emotions. I agree that it's very possible that she feels something connected with Ranach, like his pups in Ronja's belly or maybe Rogio. On the previous page I was wondering what happend if Avanti finds that Ranach doesn't love her, but only using her, that it's possibility that she turn against him, and it looks like it maybe true. But she may want to destroy this danger by killing someone, and this is not good. Or maybe she senses someone who she known someday? It would be interesting to know her past. And Kargo and Ferah are alone with Ranach now, is it time for ultimate revenge?

I see all the comments about Avanti sensing Ronja and the pups and Rogio... that was the concerned face Jahla gives. The hood and the fangs make me think Avanti is related to the Lifurs or Akis somehow.
