Man, I really hope Kargo makes it through this, but I dunno. With the next chapter teaser, I wonder if this has something to do with it. I can't actually say anything regarding my theory, but xD I also hope he takes Ranach down here. There are a lot of different stories to focus on right now, it would be nice to be able to end a big one for now.

I kinda forgot all the death flags surrounding Kargo recently and this page is a nice reminder. I strongly hope Kargo will kill Ranach before his eventual death. Then we'll finally have peace regarding the whole MT arc and we will be able to move on to a new story arc.

This is as beautiful as it is tragic. That Kargo uses his waning strength to throw ferah across the gap is heartbreaking, and yet, so much like Kargo to save Ferah over himself. I do not think Kargo is going to make it through this. Perhaps he might be saved, but i think that 3rd stab is going to be fatal regardless. Its low, its deep, and by the position...i think its likely pierced a lung. This may be the end of Kargo. And yet, poetic. He has been, essentialy, marked for death since Fjordor found out he killed the merchants. Like this, he at least gets to go out in a battle, and not by execution.

Can't help but think things would be so different in this scene if Rogio had decided to stay put instead as any one of the other dogs could have protected Vandi/Akleja as well... and she wouldn't even be in any immediate danger in the first place right now if not for Rogio guarding her since Avanti is after him, lol. I feel like he has to face Ranach sooner or later, yet once again someone is paying the price because he doesn't have the courage to step up and face Ranach. Everyone has to pull their weight to defeat Ranach, even Ronja is in the midst when she is heavily pregnant and has more at stake to lose than Rogio. Sounds a bit harsh, but I feel like Rogio really needs to be babied less and be encouraged by Ronja and Roamer to finally help defend his tribe when they stand to lose everything right now. Wonder where Roamer has gone off to.

I honestly don't know what to say at this point, I am just going to keep quiet for the most part now and hope Kargo makes it through. It don't find it fair he was made into a villain for so long, had his one love stolen and robbed from him and now that he is being more understood and maybe has a chance at happiness and life. To just get stabbed by Ranach like that, self sacrifice or not, just awful.

Same. I mean, yes, he's at peace with Roamer and Rogio now but like you said, that's not his story. He just learned about his power blessing and wanted to fight his anger issues. There's still so much for him to do and experience. Yet sadly that's exactly what makes him an excellent death candidate, storywise. It hurts the most when they'still have things to do and a new life goal in sight. See Fúss. Plus I really don't want Ranach to win. I don't want him to get the satisfaction of killing Kargo, even if it may cost his own life in the process. Kargo did some unforgivable things but he doesn't deserve to be killed by Ranach, of all dogs, and him maybe saving everyone else with his sacrifice doesn't make it any better for me. Especially if it was so easy for Ranach to kill him.

Going to post here what I said in the Discord server. I'm pretty upset that Kargo is meeting his end. Many say this is a fitting ending for him but for me I don't think so especially to someone he could beat with ease. I know his focus was manly of Ferah but I'm surprised he didn't try to push Ranach away to keep him away from the both of them but yeah. I hate that many are also saying that him accepting Roamer and Rogio is a good way to end it. I feel he still has a story that he needs to complete and many more trials he may need to face in the future. His story feels far from over just because he's being hunted down from the guild and has accepted that he lost the love of his life. I'm personally still hoping that he'll make it through this...those wounds are concerning but I'm hoping because he deserves a happier ending and while I'm aware that's not possible for everyone for someone like him he deserves it. I won't stop hoping until I see him taking his last breath. I hope he'll fight Ranach off and throw him down from the high wall that they're on and into the fire, killing him or injuring him enough where he can't move.

I had feeling that Kargo may not survive this, when we saw that he accept that Roamer love Rogio and he want give way to. It looks like he gave up and accept whatever fate bring to him. Beacause why Ranach can hurt him so badly in such a short time? If he can't have supernatural powers from his bond with Avanti it looks like Kargo lost his spirits strength or doesn't want use it anymore. In the other case he could ripped Ranach's to shreds immediately. But death from Ranach's blade? Kargo is not my favourite character, but I feel sorry for him, all his life he want run from Ranach and MT, but finally his life may end from Ranach's paws, in Meteors territory, saving their lives. Ironic. He still have a chance to survive, but I feel like he may doesn't want to. It looks like he used rest of his strength to save Ferah, throw her like that on so long distance required much effort. I can't stand Ranach's satisfaction, that he finally can kill Kargo. If it will happen, I hope that Kargo will able to take Ranach with him or weaken him enough to make easier from others to take him down.

If this is the end for Kargo, then him going down fighting to protect the ones he loves is the best way he goes. Him accepting Roamer and Rogio being together, and helping the tribe he once hated become better and let go of the past, it's... it's the best way to sum up that his story has come full circle. Roamer was the light that brought him back from despair, and now he can become the flame that burns out the evil from the past. If this really is his end, its a sacrifice well worth it. Bring Ranach down with you, Kargo!

I was also hoping that Ronja would get the opportunity to make good on her promise to kill Ranach herself, BUT I think if Kargo kills him, that will do just as well, because Ronja made the decision to let him in and then let him stay despite his misdeeds, so in a way, Kargo killing Ranach is like Ronja killing Ranach.

Also: Kargo as as he shields Ferah with his entire body sums him up so much. He loves that girl so massively, and i love him so much for protecting her for all his life, even in his last moment. You can SEE him make up his mind. He knows those wounds will get to him sooner or later, and he will go down knowing the MT will finally be free. Ferah, the person who he loves most, and roamer, the person he loves second most, will finally and truly be safe and free of the bonds that held them. They will live and prosper and in the end, it will be Kargo of all people that they have to thank for it. Part of me even hopes he becomes a good spirit, protecting the tribe from the other side, always checking in on ferah and roamer. Another part of me is happy he will finally know peace, and meet his mother. I truly hope roamer will be there in his final moment so say a final goodbye to him, i think kargo deserves to die in the arms of his first love, even after all the things he did wrong, he ultimately is a good person, and he will die fighting to prove that. I had my problems with him, but in the end, damn am i proud of this boy. Of his fighter spirit. Of how fiercly he loves, and how he now realises that that love is worth dying for. Godspeed Kargo, Godspeed.

Jup i fully agree. So proud of the boy protecting the tribe he once hated so much. Purging the world of the last of it's evil leaders he will have finished his lifes mission. He will rest in true peace knowing ferah and roamer are finally and truly safe.

Looking back on the page where everyone is dancing, I feel that Kique was telling us through Kargo's acception of Roamer and Rogio's relationship, that Kargo's story arc is over.

NOOOO! This seems to be the end for Kargo. He has decided to go out like he lived, fighting for who he loves more than anything, fighting against monsters. I hope he takes out Ranach with him while he is at it. He had lost his path, but i feel learning about his mother, Kargo will make her so proud by finally finishing what she started, protecting the ones she loved most. A small part of me hopes he will live through this, but it comes full circle: when he fled, Ranach set fire to lock them in, now he set fire to draw them out. Kargo, you fucked up big time before, but damnit, i love you big boy. You make me proud.
