Guilt mostly, and concern for Kargo's health, especially when Kargo asked if he was supposed to kill himself. Roamer teared up because of the pain Kargo was feeling. After that they began to heal, they might not have been back to how it was just yet since an event like that takes time to recover from, but they were good friends.

Im not sure if this is a spoiler question, but will you expand more on the time frame for dogs to be turned to ghouls and the process? When Kargo died, I kinda expected him to at least begin to turn, but not fully because of the fire. Only because I was interested in how it works. Does Vessal have to appear?

1. Out of the real dog breeds it's swedish elkhound, dalmatian, irish terrier, GSD. 2. Pug, english bulldog and pekingese, any breed that is heavily deformed. But I've also seen some really well bred dogs (not dogs bred for show), that are wonderful healthy examples of those breeds. 3. Steppe gazal, I'm not very familiar with sighthound anatomy but I'm getting there. 4. No. 5. "we are alien!" for the H in Home, Trajan Pro for the rest, MoolBoran for the dialogue. 6. Thank you for reading <3 1. I used some type of Adobe Photoshop, can't remember the number but whatever was current at the time, I think I used photoshop 8 for a long time. The past few years I've used Photoshop CC through Creative Cloud. 2. I use a wacom bamboo tablet, my current tablet is the wacom Intuos creative pen tablet, and a plug in for my photoshop called Lazy Nezumi Pro, to stabilize my lines.

For custom designs, instead of asking for an own design, can we ask that you draw a character that has been mentioned but never seen in the comic and that you can present on patreon/the home-wiki. Like asking for Ferahs father or for Ronjas father? I don't wan't to own those characters or anything like an ordinary custom design, I simply wishes to see them.

There gonna cremate Kargo and make use of the “Blessing/Curse” on the land (depending on how you looks at it). To save his soul from damnation as a ghoul no doubt. What I was wondering, with that knowledge, will they be doing the same for more of the dogs that died there. We’ve seen skulls on polls and stones and such and there must be graves there.

I've been following your comics since 2013, it's been a huge constant in my every day life now!! Your continuous schedule and devotion to this story has truly inspired me! Thanks to you I've been putting my own ideas onto paper and have started to write a book that I can only hope to finish! Although this past year I've been thinking about trying to make it into a comic instead bc I feel you've shown me it's an incredible way to show character's emotions better that only words. 1.)What kind of program did you start using with Asmundr versus what you use now? 2.) Do you use any specific equipment?

1. Because Ranach wanted to wait and starve the tribe some more to weaken them. 2. Spoiler question. 3. He did, but he got the most angry at kargo because Kargo was his love interest, it hurt more. 4. They don't need fuel, the blue stones work like matches, all they have to do is strike it against stone or wood to create fire. Sparks of a blue stone could be seen when Folluin kicked one out from the ground. 5. He was "younger" then, more innocent, he had seen less and been through very little. 6. What he meant by that was a battle that ended in their favor. Part of his comment refers to what the readers were hoping for, an epic showdown, the readers as well as Roamer was let down. 7. Kargo left when Roamer did, he was gone for 10 days as Ferah told Fjordor. Ferah was worried for him, she could sense that something was different this time, that it wasn't a normal anger tirade he was going on. She was hurting for him. When he returned, all she could do after being worried for all those days was to lash out and tell him she was worried for him. 8. Yes, some simple math, to keep track of the days in a year and such. 9. He didn't mean to get rid of him, just to step out of his shadow and be her own person. For all these years it's been Kargo and Ferah, she hasn't had a chance to grow on her own. 10. Ferah's ultimate sacrifice for Kargo was to leave Fjordor and Midnightgarde. She loved it there and had high hopes for the future, but when Kargo became an outlaw, she couldn't leave him. She gave up a future of her own, for him. Other things she did for him; - She motioned Roamer to instigate a romantic relationship with Kargo, because she knew Kargo liked him, and saw how happy Roamer made him. - When Roamer became concerned about Kargo after seeing him kill Savas, Ferah told Kargo that she would talk to Roamer, and she filled in the gaps for Roamer so that he would better understand Kargo. - At Midnightgarde, she saw how Kargo was being affected by a slow moving lifestyle, she suggested that he spar fight with Roamer to let off some energy, and Fjordor stepped up to the challenge. Ferah may not have done a lot of physical work for Kargo, but she has always had his emotional state in mind, and has tried her best to keep him strong and happy. 11. Most of his time shown of him before he helped Kargo and Ferah escape showed how his relationship with Ranach functioned. I could have squeezed in some scenes of how he treated the females as well but I didn't think of it at the time. But we've seen that the tribe doesn't resent him, that the females thinks he's one of the better males, and he also never mated with anyone.

I usually look up inspiration on pinterest by searching for human armor/art concepts. When I go to putting it on the animal I have to think about how the body will affect the armor I'm after. It has to be easy to put on, cover vital parts of the body but also allow for a lot of movement.

Jahla has been a lot of fun because of the various faces she has met throughout the chapter, other tthan that it was fun to draw a hare again and show some of the political aspect of Aedra. Kargo's arc was another one I enjoyed/hated XD The emotional turmoil and the well deserved breakthrough was interesting for me to write and draw.

Forgive me for asking because I'm too tired to go through the comments of the recent page. Was it always planned for Kargo to die? I remember you once said that Rogio was intended to die at the claws of the Vesall but you changed your mind because you wanted to expand his story, was Kargo's death in the original version still planned (if Rogio had been killed)?

Here is my long list of questions! 1. Why didn't Avantit just climb the walls before? 2. Will the green aliens be back at some point? 3. Why didn’t Roamer get angry at Ferah or Rogio for the secret? Yes, I know it's been stated that Rogio didn't know what Ronja meant to Roamer but did he not hear Ronja constantly talking about finding her pack and her friend Roamer? She told all of this to Ranach and he told all the other males who to look out for. I remember you saying she gave out names and a description of Roamer and the others so just curious about why Rogio didn't also tell Roamer when they first met to break out Ferah and Kargo. 4. Will we ever see where the dogs get fire fuel for the torches? 5. Why wasn’t Zilas’s murder enough to make Roamer serious about killing Ranach? 6. Why would Roamer want a great battle? Instead of something easier and safer for his tribe, like picking off ranach when Avanti isn’t around. 7. Why wasn’t Ferah ever shown comforting Kargo over the breakup when she was the one who pushed him to keep a secret from Roamer? 8. Do dogs do math? 9. Does Ferah feel bad that she let Fjordor say she should get rid of Kargo, instead of helping him, and now Kargo is dead? (‘Too bright to live in his shadow’) His wording is confusing, I didn't know if he meant she should get rid of Kargo or what. 10. Kargo and Ferah’s friendship seemed very one-sided, with him always saving her and sacrificing everything for her. As much as it hurt him, he didn’t hesitate to kill his brother to save her, but she was angry to leave with him when he didn’t ask her to. We saw him get her healing herbs, but she didn’t seem to be there for him during his breakup. What did Ferah do for Kargo? How did she show care for him? 11. Did Rogio ever try to help the females? If so, why didn't we see it?

What’s your creative process for making armor / apparel for your characters? It’s so hard to put clothing on an animal and it’s something I have always admired that you've done.

When you first started Asmundr, and the continued onwards with Home, did you ever think you would see both comics getting as big and as popular as they have? We've seen two cursed beings within Home. Would there be more cursed beings within Aedra, though they may not appear in the comic? Is Avanti's role in the comic finished, or will she appear again in some form? And to finish, Thankyou for making such an amazing and riveting tale so far! You've done amazing work, and one thing i truly loved watching is how you've improved in your artwork across the span of both comics! Thankyou for making them both, and for continueing oto tell us an amazing story! I really look forwards to every page!

1. Hope it's not too spoilery, I saw on the map that Keirr and the others seem to take a detour back home that leads close to the former Asmundr territory. Is our poor boy checking for signs of his family a second time? :c 2. What's your favorite of the herbivores we've seen so far?

His character was a huge part of me, so naturally it was very hard to say goodbye to him. I felt a bit intimidated as we got closer to the death scene, I know Kargo has a huge following, but to me I felt like it was time, and I have hope for the future plots and what his death will bring to the story. I'm very excited to be moving on from this chapter and introduce a new focus and characters (:

It's more like an outline, I use a writing technique called "discovery writing", so while I have major and cruical plot points written down and planned out, minor details and scenes to fill up in between are expanded and worked on as the story moves forward.

We've obviously seen how hard this has been on your readers, but how hard was this scene for you? Were you afraid to start this chain of events or were you excited for this part of the story? Are you happy to be moving on to the next chapter? (I know with the chapter title, I am more than ready for hopefully some healing 😭)
