As he gently swam through the calm and warm waters of Djuyai Bay, the young seer suddenly stopped. He could feel something, calling him... Following his instincts, the blind Ehas turned around and swam toward a grouping of kelp on the sea floor, scaring away the small fish that had taken refuge in it. Using his claws, he pulled them apart like a curtain, revealing the small treasure that lay behind it.

It was a crystal sprout; tiny and fragile, this was a rare sight in this forest. Carefully, he lightly tapped it with the tip of his beak, feeling the resonance echo back into him. It murmured of long gone memories and spoke of events yet to come, and the patient Ehas listened to all of them...

It's been a while since I've drawn Nelphat at all, and when I saw the prompt Underwater, I just had to go back to him. His shape is actually very relaxing to draw, plus I got to try out another underwater piece! Doing it in grayscale wasn't easy, but I'm still happy with the results.
