Inktober - 12 - Shattered

His talons dug into the ground, the only thing keeping him still standing, and Artur expected him to fall over any second... but he didn't. Without a single sound, the man seemingly recomposed himself, and straightened up. Slowly, his head turned to Artur, who backed away, eyes widening in fear. Whatever - or whoever - he was looking at... it was not an Ikrouk. It did not live on the same plane of existence as he, and that fact alone made Artur fear for his life at this very moment.
I am desperately trying to keep spoilers away from anything concerning this antagonist, but it's quite hard when I really want to draw him. x) This one was quite different to draw, I didn't quite know what to do with the word shattered, but in the end I'm quite happy with the result.
