When my brothers and I would play outside, he was always that tall shadow watching over us from afar. He's not very talkative, nor is he the most expressive father there is, but I've never been scared of him; it's just the way he's always been. Those angry eyes, that fake arm, his sharp talons, that tall, imposing posture of his... I was always amazed by them. I always looked up to him, and I know that whatever happens to me or my brothers, he would be there. I want to be like him when I'm older; not a Patriarch, not a leader, but a protector.
Artur and his father have a very close relationship, and that despite Lionel being rather quiet and secretive. He may be reluctant to say what he thinks when it comes to emotions, but when it comes to his children, he will find other ways to show them his love, without directly saying it. Whether it's by watching them and protecting them all the time, sometimes to the point of being too strict, or by teaching them all that he knows and all that he feels they will need to live fulfilling lives.
