But I soon realized my mistake, for he left me with something very important. Someone to protect. Someone who feels just like him, someone who smells just like him, and someone who acts just like him... Until the end of times, he and I shall live as one. No matter where he goes, no matter the darkness he faces, I shall be there, by his side.

Crazy what two years can do, huh? I wish I could remake this in colours, maybe I will do that in two years to see the big difference, but for now this will do. Considering this old drawing has the same name and theme as today's prompt, I thought it was rather fitting and decided to redo it, but with a different twist to it! Taking a step back to think on it, I am rather proud of the progress I've made on my art journey in such a short period as two years, and I can only hope I keep going this way.
